
www.Darulehsan.net Zikr session in the Qur'an Mahal at Camp Darulehsan, Samundri Road, Faisalabad, Pakistan. Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (RA) narrated that he asked: "Oh Messenger of Allah (SAW)! What is the reward for the gatherings of Zikr?" He (SAW) replied: "The reward for the gatherings of Zikr is Paradise, yes Paradise!" (Al-Targheeb wa Al-Tarheeb, Vol. 2, p. 405) Hazrat Abu Darda (RA) narrated the Holy Prophet (SAW) as saying: "Shall I tell you the deed which is regarded as holiest by your King, the highest in rank and better than spending your gold and silver in the way of Allah, or fighting your enemies, or killing them, or being killed? The companions beseeched: "Yes, O Messenger of Allah (SAW)." He then said: "The deed is the Zikr (remembrance) of Allah." (Jami Al-Tirmidhi, Vol. 2, p.174) Hazrat Ibn Abbaas (RA) has narrated that the Holy Prophet (SAW) passed by Abdullah bin Rawaha who was remembering Allah the Almighty with his people. The Holy Prophet (SAW) said: "You are the people with whom Allah the Almighty has asked me to sit regularly." Then he recited this verse from the Holy Qur'an: "Keep yourself content with those who call upon their Lord, morning and evening...(to the end of the verse)" (18:28). Then he (SAW) said: "For every person who sits here with you an angel will join your company. If the people say 'Subhanallah', these angels will say 'Subhanallah' too.
