REVIEW: Let's quickly do a rundown of what's new in the slimmest of Apple's notebooks. -We see the return of the backlit keyboard that was booted in the last iteration. Both the 11" and the 13" have them. -Thunderbolt Port. The mini display port is now thunderbolt. Bringing along all of its great features. -New keyboard layout. The F3 and F4 keys which previously were the Expose and Dashbord keys, is now the Mission Control and Launchpad keys. They have been updated with new logos. The Mission Control looks like Expose but without the border. And the launchpad key is completely different from dashboard, which has 6 little squares in two rows of three. -Hardware. Now all Core i5 or i7 processors. They all come with 4GB of ram, except the lowest end 11". Hard drives are all now much larger, maxing out at 256gb standard on the higher end ones. Not a ton of changes, but very important ones. The speed in particular is crazy good. Though they don't look like it, because of the flash storage they really do a great job. For instance, I was able to export a 3.6GB 720p video from final cut in under 2 minutes. And copy an entire movie into iTunes in about 1 minute. With benchmarks just starting to come out, using the geek bench standards, the new airs are actually starting to edge out the MacBook Pros. This is a huge step forward as Apples new cheapest computers are beating out their most expensive. I've been testing this <b>...</b>
