Arlan Feiles live online vocal takes for upcoming LP. was recorded on the 3rd of May 2011. it allowed fans and friends access to the recording process with live interaction using online chat. this method was used to place a large audience in front of Arlan in order to give some of the takes on the LP a live performance feel. we were limited on the video and steaming formats but the vocal recording takes ended up pristine and many will be used on upcoming LP. the between the takes speaking parts will have pops and crackles due to the limited set up time and streaming limits.

I had the Honor of sitting with the Legendary R&B producer Lonnie Simmons, best known for his work with Charlie Wilson and The GAP band in Los Angeles in the 70's and 80's. We talked about his hit song from 1979 "The Boys are Back in Town".(No, not the Thin Lizzy song) A song about returning home from a tour to find how home can change while you've been gone. We talked about the difficulties young soldiers must face coming home from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. Coming home from their Tour. We came up with the idea of recording an updated version of the song to honor the young men and women who have gone to far away places carrying the honor of protecting our country. We appreciate how hard it must be to come home and leave brothers behind. We wanted to know we welcome you home with all out hearts, and will always remember those left behind. Thank you Lonnie for sharing your wisdom and for letting me put my mark on this great song.
