Antonin Artaud's plays The Spurt Of Blood and To Have Done With The Judgement of God were incorporated in the theatre production, Acting Artaud and was presented at The Street Theatre in Canberra and at The Seymour Centre in Sydney in 2004. This short video features some of the imagery from that production. The performance began with a short piece from Shadow House PITS titled Exorcism From The Cell. The year long project explored a means for utilizing Artaud's theories on a "theatre of cruelty". Photos at the end of the video are by 'pling.

This video features two films from the Five Truths installation that focus on an Antonin Artaud influenced approach to the character of Ophelia. What are the differences between five of the most influential European theatre practitioners of the 20th century? How would these five directors work with the actress playing Ophelia in the famous mad scene in Shakespeare's Hamlet? What would they ask the actress to do and how would they ask the actress to behave? A video installation looking at these questions, called Five Truths and commissioned by the V&A in partnership with the National Theatre was created by a group of contemporary theatre makers lead by director Katie Mitchell. The multi-screen installation brings together five interpretations of Ophelia's madness in Hamlet. Ten screens of varying sizes simultaneously play films of Ophelia interpreted dramatically through the lens of Constantin Stanislavski, Antonin Artaud, Bertolt Brecht, Jerzy Grotowski and Peter Brook. Curated by Kate Bailey, created by director Katie Mitchell, video designer Leo Warner, set designer Vicki Mortimer, lighting designer Paule Constable and sound designer Gareth Fry, starring Michelle Terry as Ophelia. The Five Truths will appear at a number of venues in the UK in 2012 including the Howard Assembly Room at Opera North in Leeds, the Lowry, the V&A and the National Theatre.

Tributo al genio poetico e visionario di uno dei più grandi uomini del teatro del Novecento: Antonin Artaud (1896 - 1948) L'audio di questo video è una sintesi rielaborata delle registrazioni originali del 1947. Artaud pensò la pièce come un'alternanza di brani recitati e "rumorizzazioni musicali", in quella che lui stesso definì come "xilofonia sonora". Io ho cercato di fondere i due piani dell'opera per sintetizzarne il sincretismo estetico. Sotto la recitazione della "Conclusion" si possono quindi ascoltare alcuni dei "Bruitage" originali. Per le immagini, invece, mi sono avvalso completamente di materiale liberamente ricavato dalla rete.

El mejor disco de la historia del rock argentino, por lejos. Para recordar al Flaco. Artaud es un disco que fue acreditado a la banda argentina de Pescado Rabioso, aunque el álbum corresponde en realidad a Luis Alberto Spinetta como solista. El motivo no quedó claro, pero algunos datos sostienen que esto ocurrió por problemas contractuales, otros que Spinetta buscaba demostrar que Pescado Rabioso era tan sólo una idea musical ajena al tipo de música que se interpretara en el álbum ("Pescado era yo"). Esto último podría sostenerse en el hecho de que tanto lírica como musicalmente, el disco difiere del sonido propio de Pescado Rabioso. El título del álbum hace referencia al poeta francés Antonin Artaud, de hecho, el concepto del álbum está influenciado por las lecturas de Spinetta de dos de sus obras: "Heliogábalo, el anarquista coronado" (1934) y "Van Gogh, el suicidado por la sociedad" (1947). En el disco participaron Carlos Gustavo Spinetta (hermano de Luis) y Rodolfo García en batería y Emilio del Guercio en bajo, estos dos últimos ex compañeros de Spinetta de la banda Almendra. Podríamos emparentar este disco, con el tono intímista que tendría 9 años después Kamikaze. Numerosas guitarras acústicas, un ascetismo marcado en los arreglos y un viraje abrupto respecto de su disco anterior.
