Finnish furniture company Artek has stood the test of time. Since forming in 1935 by husband and wife team Alvar and Aino Aalto, visual arts promoter Marie Gullichsen and art historian Nils-Gustav Hahl, Artek has become synonymous with revolutionary product design and fusing art and technology. Here, creative director of the company Ville Kokkonen talks us through Artek's collaboration with Commes des Garcons and tells us why their new Bright Light is actually good for your health.
