TRACK REVIEW: Atari Teenage Riot - Activate! I am a long time fan of ATR. After they disbanded in 2000 and the death of their MC Carl Crack, it looked like ATR was gone for good. Here we are 10 years later with a new single from ATR, Activate! Activate is a jump to the past with very early ATR root sounds. The song is more straight forward then their more noisey stuff they would do on 60 Second Wipe Out. Alec Empire, the master mind behind ATR is back along with Nic Endo taking over on the female vocals, and we have a new MC CX KIDTRONIX. Everything you would exspect from ATR is here with dance bass beats, synthy bass lines, guitar samples, and machine gun drum machines.
