Gear used: Custom Shop American Classics Stratocaster with Kinman AVn Blues pickups. 1974 Fender Silverface Champ (BASS on 10, Treble on 2.5, Volume on 3.5). Tube Screamer Settings: DRIVE at 3 o'clock, TONE at 10 o'clock and LEVEL at 1 o'clock. BB Preamp settings: GAIN at 2 o'clock, VOLUME at 1 o'clock, TREBLE at 11 o'clock and BASS at 12 o'clock. The amp was mixed with a Shure SM-57 and a hint of reverb was added later on in Cubase 5.

here a little kind of improvisation gear used: - ESP stratocaster CS (brazilian rosewood) with SD antiquity surfer 50's pickups - xotic RC booster (used as a buffer) - xotic BB preamp gain on 9 o clock level 10, EQ flat. - Eventide time factor delay with Xotic x-blender used as line mixer. - Fender Vibrolux reverb silverface (1975) with blackface mod light delay, reverb from the amp around 4 eq flat. sorry for the poor sound. it is not justice to the feels of the amp :(

Damage Control Womanizer (no amp) + Xotic BB Preamp Tones Demo
This video demos some of the tones I use on my Damage Control Womanizer. I use it as a direct in box for my headphone apartment set up. It is pretty good when compared to other alternatives in a similar price range but does not replace a real amp and is not as powerful as other headphone set ups I've heard (AXE FX!). It's pretty decent for the money though. The intro piece and lead part are from Andy Timmons' The Prayer the Answer and there is some noodling in between. Gear Used: Ibanez AT300 runs into an Xotic BB Preamp (clean boost on intro, then medium gain on the rest). The BB goes into the Womanizer which runs out to an MXR Carbon Copy into an Electro Harmonix Holy Grail Nano. Unfortunately the Audio only projects out of one speaker.. sorry!

- Xotic BB preamp std in the loop 1 - Xotic BB preamp MidBoost custom shop in the loop 2 guitar used is a ESP GL-56 through a fender vibrolux reverb, I use a true Bypass looper to switch between the two versions. the sound of my camera is poor but you can notice the difference between the standard BB wich has sweet bottom and clear high end and the new BB wich has more bitte end, and sound more like a marshall. (due to his strong mids the BB MB sound harsh on the video its due to the poor mic of the camera, in front of the amp you have good sound whith strong grow ) the both version are complementary I think. at the beginning of the video I use a setting on the MB wich is the closest to my hear of the std version with all settings at twelve o clock.
