BBE Mind Bender
A quick demo of the BBE Mind Bender Vibrato/Chorus pedal. This is another in the line of vintage-styled pedals that BBE has been putting out there. The Mind Bender does some crazy things here, with some very insanely deep modulation. The left button toggles between the two modes, and the right button toggles it on and off. The pedal is true bypass. Interesting pedal, but a little too much effect for me. I like to use chorus to liven up my strumming sections a little bit, and my vibrato to do the same with solo passages. With the depth anywhere past 10 o'clock, the effect simply has too much pitch-shifting for me. I prefer the lush sound of a CE-5 or Maxon CS-505/550. But if you're in the market for a trippy vibrato or chorus, this is for you.

While Bruno and Bruno appeared in countless projects, such as 'The Age Of Love' and 'At The Villa People', Emmanuel concentrated on creating all time classics like 'Acid Phase' and 'Turkish Bazar'. In the year 1996, the three of them united under the name BBE and delivered the unforgottable trance classic 'Seven Days And One Week'. In the meantime countless producers came up with their very own version of the famous melody of 'Seven Days And One Week'. Almost 15 years after the release of its original version, German DJ and producer Nils van Gogh teamed up with his compatriots Frank Sanders and Bernd Johnen aka Sunlovers, to create a vocal house translation of the track. So here we have it. I have exceeded my initial target time. Most friends were correct with their predictions :) I'm very happy overall with this run, but not completely. I would prefer to be under the minute rather than just over : / & Knowing what I now know, I could still knock some more time off. Mainly in Acts 1 & 2. My main aim throughout this whole run has been to push the limits of what is possible within a New Game speedrun. This meant a large amount of the time for this run was spent on discovering & testing methods. This also meant that discoveries would be made mid-run & that I couldn't completely optimise it. I wouldn't need no where near the same amount of time for a future run & it would also be faster. Most of the hard work was done in this run. Ideally I would like to sqeeze every possible second out of each section too. But that would take longer. Liquid: The rhythm for the 1-2 punch combo becomes progressively more difficult in each phase (except the 4th) to execute with any sort of consistency.
