If you can't get/ or don't have a wand, you can get the same effect by wrapping your hair around a curling iron without clamping it. I'm using an Ionika Curling Wand in the Union Jack design. I got it for £14 at TKMaxx. The RRP price is £65, so such a bargain! Where to find: It seems that unfortunately it has been discontinued from Ionika, so its really hard finding one. The Ionika website sells the same curling wand, just a smaller barrel, so you would get small ringlet curls. You can get it cheaper at TKMaxx or their website. But if its not there, that means there's none left as that would be all of their stock of it. The heat glove comes with the wand, but I've heard you can get gloves separately at Sally's. I'm wearing my 18" clip-in real human hair extensions from the brand Dream Girl, and I got them for £40 at a local hair extension shop. If you guys have watched my previous videos you would know that I am obsessed with braids and variations of their usage in hair styles so I had to recreate this look. I began this tutorial wearing my heatless tight spiral curls so please watch that if you haven't already done so. This is a very versatile look. As I mentioned, you can easily just do the first half of the look and wear it as a spiffed up ponytail, you can follow my instructions up to the braided ponytail section and follow a different bun tutorial or you can choose to do the Korean bun as I demonstrate for very elegant results.
