A recipient of the Padma Bhushan, he was famous for his ghazals. In 1949 Talat moved to Bombay, to sing for the Bombay film industry. His name and fame had already preceded him and soon he was flooded with offers. His big break came with the song "Ae dil mujhe aisi jagha le chal jahan koi na ho" composed by music-composer Anil Biswas for the soundtrack of the movie "Arzoo". The song proved to be very popular. People who remember Talat describe his nature as a quiet one. He is often described as a decent man, as his voice reflected that decency and sense of calm. Music directors who worked with him claimed that when one would listen to him, you would get the feeling that he was a soft-hearted man. As Naushad aptly reflects about Talat; "Because one's character reflects one's art too". Talat was considered a handsome man and a good singer, which prompted movie producers to try him as an actor. Talat acted in over a dozen films with top actresses of the time like Nutan, Mala Sinha, Suraiya and others. Il video con cui ci presentiamo! La Nardi & Banti imballaggi srl nasce nel 1947 ad opera di Nardi Adone e Banti Agostino come segheria di legname in un'area altamente boschiva. L'attività di segagione viene portata avanti fino agli inizi del 1970 quando avviene l'allargamento dell'attività alla produzione di pancali da imballaggio in legno. Durante il decennio seguente il livello di produzione effettuato incrementa di anno in anno soprattutto grazie all'apporto del Dott. Nardi Romano nella gestione del settore vendite. Durante il decennio 1980-90 l'attività si estende alla commercializzazione dei pancali nonché all'integrazione di forniture estere di materiale segato nel processo produttivo. Nel 1989 la guida della società passa dal Rag. Nardi Adone al figlio Romano. A partire da questa data si assiste ad una ristrutturazione della società che porta da un lato ad una forte diminuzione della forza lavoro dall'altro ad uno spostamento nella tipologia di clientela fornita passando da una clientela composta prevalentemente da grandi industrie ad una di piccole e medie aziende con una produzione che da altamente standardizzata si sposta verso una non standard. Durante gli anni seguenti si hanno due ulteriori cambiamenti: da un lato viene introdotta la commercializzazione e la riparazione di pancali usati dall'altro viene terminata l'originaria attività di segheria sostituendola con semilavorati di origine nazionale ed estera.
