The competition has reached such a level that the tension is visible on the face of Judge Gurus as well as the contestants. This episode showcases the evergreen romantic numbers from Bollywood. The first one to perform is Sahiti G. She presents an act on 'Kaanto Se Kheench Ke' confidently and smilingly. Her melodious singing makes Sanjay Leela Bhansali exclaim that it is her best performance till date. Nirmitee comes in full flow with their version of 'Chhod Do Aanchal'. They mix it with some Spanish and English lyrics along with their harmonies and make it sound a new song altogether. Shreya Ghoshal and Sanjay Leela Bhansali give them a standing ovation. Aditya Narayan asks Ranjana if she likes anyone, so she reveals that she is in love with Shahid Kapoor. Aditya then teases her by putting on a Shahid Kapoor mask. Amit Jhadav performs on an extremely romantic number 'Meri Soni'. He gets appreciated for getting back his confidence which he was loosing in the previous performances. Deewana Group sets the stage on a blaze with their passionate singing on 'Dil Kya Kare'. Shahnwaz Khan sings a few lines for her pregnant wife to express his love for her. Shilpa Shetty Kundra looked like a million bucks as she alighted from her car at David Dhawan's house on Tuesday evening. And why not? It was the actress' first karva chauth and she made sure all eyes were on her as she made her way across in a blue sari with a green and red border, smiling and posing for the shutterbugs. Hubby Raj Kundra was close by her side throughout. All the ladies, sporting mehndi in their hands and mangalsutras on their necks, carried puja thalis in their hands. And it was quite a pleasant sight to see them dress up in traditional saris and salwar kameezes for a change! Sajid and Wardha Nadiadwala walked in next, closely followed by Chunky and Bhavna Pandey. Kiran Bawa, Queenie and Farhad Taraporvala and Reema Jain were some of the others who dropped in at David and Lali's residence for the puja.

Once again the show establishes with the tensed environment of elimination. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's team of Deewana Group, Sajda Sisters & Nirmitee Group remain safe. Seema Jha, Kartar Singh Yadav, Sahiti G & Geet Sagar also stay out of harm. Piyush Kapoor & Amit Jhadav end up in the bottom two. Amit Jhadav performs 'Mujhe Kuchh Kehna Hai', originally sung by KK. Piyush once again opts for a Kunal Ganjawala song 'Channa Ve Ghar Aaja'. Sonu Nigam shocks everyone by voting for Amit Jhadav. Shreya Ghoshal also votes for him and he stays in the show. Sanjay Leela Bhansali, on the contrary, feels that the decision wasn't fair. Piyush leaves the stage of X Factor with some unforgettable memories. The theme of the episode is 'Rain'.
