Its looking like the Spanish actor Javier bardem has confirmed his role as the villain in the next james bond film which is currentrly called bond 23. Bardem recently told ABC's Nightline that he's looking forward to being 007's nemesis, he said, "I'm very excited because my parents took me to watch the movies and I saw all of them. So to play that is going to be fun." In other bond 23 news, Daniel Craig returns as suave British agent 007 in Bond 23, which may have its name now, according toFusible.com. The site reported that the MGM and Sony Pictures release, slated for late 2012, will likely be called Skyfall, according to several domain name registrations that were privately purchased through brand protection company Mark Monitor. Javier Bardem is going bad for Bond. The Oscar winner confirmed to ABC's Nightline that he is set to play the villain in the upcoming 23rd James Bond movie, and he says he's already done some research for the role. "My parents took me to watch the movies and I saw all of them. So to play that it's gonna be fun." All year long there have been rumors about Javier joining the cast and while we now now his bad guy role, there are still plenty of other question marks that remain, namely, the title of the film! Until now its been referred to as Bond 23, but this week there are reports it will be titled "Skyfall". Then there's the speculation surrounding who will be the sexy new Bond Girl. For now, the rumored top contender is French model Berenice Marlohe, but don't expect Javier to give away any top secret info. "They choose me to play this man but I cannot give you many details." Whatever it's called, the next Bond blockbuster will hit theaters in 2012.
