Bedini Motors have no torque! Wow.. I can't believe how many people can't see past the video's title to what is actually being demonstrated in the video... I'll break it down. Computer fan motor normally considered to be around 85% for converting electrical into mechanical. The computer fan motor gets up to 3050rpm while drawing 416ma. MG2 spins the same fan at 3070rpm while tuned to draw 417ma and the MG2 charges batteries.

A Bedini type pulse motor driven by a Rodin coil. The rotor is a 3/4 inch cylinder, magnetized thru the diameter, ( Neodymium N42 strength from KJ Magnetics ) It is mounted on a wooden drive shaft over the Rodin coil. The magnet is not connected to the shaft, it just spins on its own. In later videos Neospin10 and others, the magnet is glued to the shaft. A 555 timer provides the variable frequency pulses to the coil. Power is +15 VDC. Mounting the cylinder along the axis of the coil did not work for me, as in Jaimie Buturff's setup, but I'm happy it worked by rotating the axis 90 degrees. Same circuit as the Rodini charger video posted earlier. The spinning rotor acts to stay over the center of the coil, if you push it away it moves right back. Getting an aluminum driveshaft to see what kind of power out it might have. Aloha

This is a one magnet Bedini motor which uses no axles or bearings and runs on as little as 2.6v.It uses one off those crazy magnets that usually come in pairs as a rotor.A plastic top from a coffee jar is placed over a coil with a steel core and the crazy magnet given a spin.It seems to charge batteries quite well and i think it would also make quite a neat toy.Thanks to Eroutt for posting his idea which led me to this.

This is a levitating one magnet no bearing Bedini motor.I am using 4 N38 25mmx6mm disk magnets to levitate the rotor which has a diametricaly magnetised central magnet.The one point of friction is where the rotor is in contact with the headstock but it may be possible to levitate it at this point with a repulsing magnet or some form of magnetic bearing.All the magnets have their north poles facing towards the left and the rotor magnets are offset in relation to the base magnets by about 1cm.

This is an electronically fired pulse motor. It is using a device called a " step down adjustable switching regulator" that is 90% efficient to control the supply voltage . A small solar panel is used to supply energy to a 5Ah 12v lead acid battery. That energy is then metered out to the motor thru the regulator. In this video i place the aircore Bifilar coil in different positions and it powers the rotor in them all.The coil seems to be at the centre off a magnetic bubble and the rotor will spin if it is anywhere inside this bubble.What i find interesting about this test is the coil powers the rotor in positions which would not work with a standard Bedini motor.

So, I'm going to be making a couple of new wheels that are fixed to a common shaft, and have the thing drive a modified alternator. I'm also thinking now that the wheels will have magnets with opposite poles facing out...one wheel with all N facing out and one with all S facing out. I'll have the flux of the paired coils joined, a la Ed Leedskalnin...so that no flux is blasted away from the wheel...all magnetic flux (12 coils, both ends of each) will be utilized to drive the wheel. I did this with my "King Kong Bedini" video and it worked great. The Bedini setup clearly has a better effect than the Flynn motor. I can't wait to see what happens. This motor is a hybrid between a Bedini motor and a DC motor.It utilises both poles off a coil. The Rotors are mounted on DC motors which are wired in series with the power coil.There is a capasitor in parallel with each motor. The motor Operates like this. When i spin the rotor the bedini trigger circuit switches the transistor on which sends power through the dc motors and then the power coil.This does 3 things. 1.The power coil pushes the magnets on the rotors 2.The dc motors(rotors) spin. 3.The capasitors in parallel with the dc motors charge up. When the transistor switches off,the capasitor discharges through the dc motors so turning the rotors when a normal bedini would be free wheeling. I have done some load tests with this motor and found current draw decreases under load.

This is a one magnet no bearing Bedini motor which uses one off those crazy magnets for a rotor.In this test i have added two pickup coils to recover some energy.I also wanted to see if the magnet remained stable in the presence off the pickup coils before i add some more and it does.The meter is showing recovered voltage.The run voltage is 4.5v and a 9v battery is being charged.
My spin on the bedini motor with dc brushless pc fan. I used the thedaftmans circuit www.youtube.com for the main bulk of it then used the various vids on the tube to get the pc brushless fan working as the trigger and run coils. My question to all the bedini gurus out there is why does it charge more when the motor is spinning less and charge less the faster the spinning. I did notice this same effect in the newman motor design.
