The 2nd of the 3 songs that I love on this album, the first being Not Under Law, this and then Now Is The Day Of Salvation The writer of this song Chris Christensen if I remember correctly wrote a song in 1988 titled "The Earth Shakes" which was used a decade later in 2000 on Don Moen's "Mercy Seat" album. I remember playing that album (even though it wasn't my favorite Christian album even at that time, it happened to be in the house so I thought "why not!!"). I remember seeing the mouse and Integrity.com or IntegrityAsia.com website in the cd insert, crazy how that iconic Christian company has been recently sold. At least the sales prevented it from going down. Along with the sale of the company goes the ability to order some out of print cds such as this series and others in the Hosanna! series. This song is a departure from my normal children's Bible memory verse songs. It is an adult oriented composition and is taken word for word from the New International Version (NIV) except I added one word for a smoother transition. It is in a minor key and features dissonant harmonies. I hope the Lord uses it to bless someone!
