Killer Home Arm Workout (biceps, triceps)


Here is a killer arm workout you can do at home with just a set of dumbbells to help get those huge guns, I'm sore for days after doing this workout. This is an arm workout for the advanced bodybuilder, if you are new to bodybuilding please check my website for a more appropriate workout. There are six exercises, three for biceps and three for triceps. The entire workout takes 45 minutes and there is very little down time. Make sure you have done warm-up sets for both biceps and triceps before starting this workout because we start in with really heavy weights and you don't want to get injured. Intensity and focus are really important when you do this workout. Don't hold back anything, treat every set as if it were your last. I know I sound stupid with all my grunting and groaning but when I give it 110%, I can't help it. In this workout we do one exercise for biceps then without rest do the opposing triceps muscle. Here is the workout: Biceps: dumbbell curl using forced negatives Triceps: skull crushers Rest 60-90s while preparing dumbbells for next exercises Biceps: Twenty-ones with barbell Triceps: narrow grip bench press Rest 60-90s while preparing dumbbells for next exercises Biceps: reverse grip barbell curls Triceps: dumbbell kick backs Repeat the above five times, the complete workout should take about 45 minutes. Arm mega-pump with 21's for biceps


scoobysworkshop.com 21s are a great exercise. The way I like using them is in conjunction with an arm workout where I am using heavy weights with low reps. I will do my whole workout with heavy weights and low reps but then the last 10 minutes I will do 21s. Its a great contrast and it gives you such a hard pump you'll swear your biceps are gonna burst. Thw biggest problem people have is in choosing the right weight, most people use a weight way too heavy and end up doing 15s or 18s instead of 21s. This exercise beats you up, choose the weight you think is right, then use 25% less! I like to do these with an ez-curl bar but if you can use a straight bar without causing elbow or wrist pain, thats fine too. If you want, you could do 21s with dumbbells too. Basically, use whatever you have even if its 5gallon buckets full of water. Take a shoulder width grip with your palms up. Now the only part of our body that is going to move here is our elbows - everything else is stationary. If you have to rock your torso back and forth then you are using too much weight. So heres how we do the 21s 7 reps bottom half 7 reps top half 7 reps full ROM Some form pointers, first use a mirror - stand sideways so you can see what halfway is. The mirror also helps make sure the elbows are motionless pinned against your side. Dont let them move forward and backward. KILLER!!!!! Rest 1-2 minutes and do it again. If you want an additional challenge, do these on a bosu ball. The balance required <b>...</b>

Whenever anybody is asked to 'flex' the immediate reaction is to expose that tennis ball you have hiding under your sleeve, it's the most popular individual muscle to train on the body and also the least understood. When educating my clients about this muscle I will always put it into perspective. Believe it or not the bicep is actually made up of two heads, hence the "bi", one being the biceps brachii inner head and biceps brachii outer head. It is also adjoined with the triceps, which are actually over double its size! The biceps are a pleasure to train, and when trained correctly will respond with eye catching results within a very short amount of time. Number one rule when training this muscle group is "isolation". Far too often you will see people attempting to train their "guns" without actually realising they are recruiting many other surrounding muscles like the forearms, triceps, deltoids and even their lats! This workout is broken down into 3 exercises, performed immediately after each other for 3-6 sets in total. The three exercises include 1. Standing (pre-exhaustion) dumbbell curls THEN 2. Incline (isolation) dumbbell preachers THEN 3. Seated (contraction) barbell curls 2 MINUTES REST THEN REPEAT ABOVE FOR 3-6 SETS Anybody can experience the benefits of gaining muscle, and it doesn't take 2-3 hours in a gym every day <b>...</b>

DC Training (DoggCrapp) Quads, Hamstrings, Calves, Bicep Day


This is footage from today's DC workout. This is considered my "B" workout where I hit quads, hamstrings, calves and biceps. I end up hitting these muscles twice a week (every 4 days or so). DC training utilizes a lot of rest pause sets, where after finishing an exercise you rest briefly (10-12 deep breaths) before performing another set. With quad exercises it's a bit different, you do a heavy set of 6-10 reps followed by a widow maker set of 20 reps. After watching the results of the video I know that my form still needs improvement. My hamstrings were tight from my previous workout and this hampered my squatting depth as well as my leg curls. For some reason my 2nd rest pause set on BB curls just wasn't happening. Even if you think you have great form, there's always some tweaks you can do. Filming really helps me going forward making tweaks to my routine. I forgot to film the stretching part of this workout (which I noted at the end).
