Sometimes, a body gets a hankering that only Leonard Nimoy singing about hobbits while surrounded by 60's pixie chicks can sate. Fortunately, we live in a world where those hankerings need not go unfulfilled! The colour portion of the video is from "Funk Me Up Scotty," a 1996 documentary from BBC2 about the musical carees of the cast of the original Star Trek. The show cut the last verse and an instrumental/dance interlude, which I've restored using black & white footage from I know not where.

This month's video is on Bilbo Baggins. I believe that "Every Hobbit deserves warm home" so I ended up creating part of Bilbo's Bag End. It definitely made the whole experience a little more exciting for me. Here's a short article on the project: quazen.com Just to add everything was done in acrylics. The head was painted with Vallejo Model Colours, the clothes are a combi of Vallejo and Citadel Colours. Only Hunter Green is from Folk Art Acrylics. Ian McKellen Talks About Seeing "Bilbo Baggins" In 3D
Twitter.com - Follow Us! Ian McKellen has SEEN Bilbo Baggins in 3D -- and he's spilled all the juicy details! Hey Guys, I'm Chelsea Cannell and you're watching Clevver Movies! So Ian McKellen heard that Martin Freeman was testing out his Bilbo outfit for some Hobbit Screen Tests recently and he decided he had to take a look. Thankfully he also took to his personal blog to fill us in on how Bilbo will look in 3D. According to the Actor, Freeman was QUOTE "transmuting into a character whose reality will soon be as authentic as his own." According to McKellen the screen in the room showed the 2d image but then next to it above the director's chair there was a large color screen that showed the character in 3D much like we'll see him in the theaters. He added that Freeman was mostly oblivious to the camera and was turning every which way, with an improvised gait while testing his big hairy hobbit feet, pointy ears and Quote "Little Tum." Cute!
