Bisimoto 533hp Turbo Hybrid CR-Z first 1/4 mile low boost test, in car racing vid


This is the first test run of the 533hp Bisimoto Sport Hybrid CRZ on the quarter mile drag strip. Driven by Bisi Ezerioha on street tyres, this test was done on wastegate pressure of 11 psi (287whp). Lots of data gathered, and tons of opportunity for hybrid enthusiasts worldwide. Controlled by a sybiotic relationship between an AEM EMS and the factory hybrid ECU, this car makes 533 hp at 20psi.

This is a sweep session of a clean, boosted Acura integra tuned with an AEM Series 2, 30-6060 EMS, on 91 octane and water-methanol. At boost levels hovering around 1 bar, this smooth driving, show quality 4 door made over 400whp, after a partial and full throttle tune on the Bisimoto dynapack. The water meth kit gives race fuel protection, without the cost, and has a fail safe function to keep the engine alive in the event of a glitch or dry tank.

Bisimoto Engineering and American Honda have partnered on a top secret project for the 2011 Honda CRZ. This is a baseline on the sport setting for the LEA1 engine, yielding 104whp and 108 ft/lbs of torque, with force depleted hybrid battery cells. Enter the Bisimoto lab: a secret new product test on the 2006 Honda Insight Pro stock race car (all motor; naturally aspirated). Very first virgin pass, quite rich (0.7 lambda), and still made an astonishing 415whp with an F22a sohc engine. This is a quarter mile test of the Bisimoto sport hybrid CRZ turbo in Eco mode, at 11.5psi. This hybrid mode saves gas consumption and has a conservative throttle response algorithm built in to the factory ecu system. This real world test had a fourth gear misshift.

This is a baseline dyno sweep test of a brand new factory 2012 Honda Civic Si, at 11 miles on the odometer. This is a testbed in partnership with American Honda and Bisimoto Engineering. This is a custom twin scroll, bisimoto-turbonetics mid frame turbo utilizing the HP-series 72mm compresor wheel. Ball bearing standard cartridge, this turbo is brand new, and not broken in. This is a video of the unit coming to rest, after shut off.

Bisimoto tuning of E85 powered Turbo S2000, on AEM EMS


This is a full throttle tuning sweep, after a partial throttle tune of Alex "Sheepey" S's Honda S2000. Using a 62mm billet Turbo, custom twin scroll turbo manifold, an AEM series 2 EMS, and a bone stock engine, this setup made 471whp at only 13.8psi of boost pressure, on E85. The session was limited due to misfire induced by poor engine grounds. With perfect partial throttle tuning allowed on the Bisimoto Dynapack, the drivability and throttle response is superb.

Bisimoto Tuning of old school Toyota Carina, Turbo'd JDM engine


This is a tuning session of a prestine 1973 Toyota Carina's transplanted 3T-GTE JDM turbo engine, using Microtech EMS. This twin plug, 4 cylinder engine is rare indeed, and owned by R Rated Motorsports. Tuned at about 8psi, the vehicle made over 220whp, with a small t3 turbo and modified stock intake manifold.
