Jay-Z - Girls, Girls, Girls

"Girls, Girls, Girls" is the second single from rapper Jay-Z's album The Blueprint. It is a playful description of the artist's promiscuous lifestyle. The song contains a sample of "There's Nothing In This World That Can Stop Me From Loving You" by Tom Brock. The chorus features a lyrical interpolation of "High Power Rap" by Crash Crew. The song has additional vocals sung by Q-Tip, Slick Rick and Biz Markie, but are not credited as featured guests on the back artwork, they are however credited in the album's liner notes. Actresses Carmen Electra, Paula Jai Parker, Taraji P. Henson, and Tamala Jones all make cameo appearances in the song's music video. A remix to the song produced by Kanye West can be found as a hidden track on The Blueprint album after the songs "Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)" and the other hidden song "Lyrical Exercise". The remix is composed of new verses by Jay-Z, a new instrumental sampling "Trying Girls Out" by The Persuaders and uncredited vocals from Michael Jackson.

I actually met him via myspace a couple years back. We had plans to shoot a completely different video that was for a song from my full-length album Adventures in Counter-Culture, but it was an outdoor shoot involving a lot of kids, and we ran out of good weather and time. Also, as my album started to change and the final version was being made, it became clear that the song we had originally planned on shooting a video for probably wasn't going to make the album. * I came up with the story-line for the video and originally wanted to try it when I put out Blueprint vs Funkadelic a couple years prior, but didn't have the resources to do a video for it at the time. Once i realized the concept cold work for Dream Big I described it to Daniel and he was with it. * A couple months later, I described to him the Blueprint Who project and asked if he would be interested in doing something for it and he was down. We shot it the following weekend, which happened to be the weekend before we shot the "Cold Out Here" video for Greenhouse. * The video was shot in Columbus, Oh at a lot of familiar ...

Blueprint - So Alive

Buy on iTunes: bit.ly 12" Vinyl at Fifth Element: bit.ly Amazon: amzn.to Diversity. Ambition. Evolution. Those words signify what can be the most powerful tools in an artist's arsenal. Blueprint has made a career out of tapping heavily into all three. "So Alive", the lead single from Blueprint's sophomore album Adventures In Counter-Culture is a perfect example where all three comfortably mesh together over a self produced frantic, 60's inspired slice of soulful electro pop. Perhaps it's the artistic freedom of expression in Blueprint's new music that opens the doorway to one being able to feel "So Alive". Blueprint - Radio-Inactive

Buy now on iTunes: Explicit: bit.ly Clean: bit.ly Instrumental: bit.ly The story of "Radio-Inactive": bit.ly Critically acclaimed mc/producer and Soul Position frontman Blueprint, returns with his highly anticipated sophomore solo release Adventures in Counter-Culture. Experimenting with synths, keyboards, and drum machines, Adventures in Counter-Culture touches on Blueprint's cynicism with the world, his disdain for pop culture, the state of politics and an apathetic, uninspired society. The album encompasses every facet of music Blueprint knows. It blurs genre lines and connects his hip hop pedigree with his early days in the church choir, to the R&B bands he was a part of in high school, to his new found interest in rock and electronic music. After a five year musical journey, Blueprint has emerged with his greatest effort to date. A culmination of self discovery and societal critique, Adventures in Counter-Culture is just that. Jay-Z Feat. Eminem - Renegade (Live @ Late Show with David Letterman)[TheSuperHD Video]

"Renegade" is a song by rapper Jay-Z, which appears as the 12th track on his sixth album The Blueprint. The song is produced by and features Eminem, who is the only guest appearance on the album with rap verses. It was originally a collaboration between Eminem and Royce da 5'9" as part of the Bad Meets Evil series, but Royce was later replaced by Jay-Z.[1] The original can be found on mixtapes and has leaked onto the internet. The Jay-Z version of the song, as featured on The Blueprint, was later included as a bonus track on the deluxe edition of Eminem's 2005 greatest hits album, Curtain Call: The Hits. The song is referenced by rapper Nas on his famous diss record Ether, made during the highly-publicized feud between him and Jay-Z. Nas says to Jay-Z that "Eminem murdered you on your own shit;" stating that he felt Eminem outperformed Jay-Z on Jay's own song.
