Hi everyone! This skincare routine video was requested by liveluvlaf21 and macluver35. My skin type is combination oily skin- very oily in the T-zone and comfortable in the cheeks and chin. My forehead is also very acne prone. Most of the items are Shiseido products because I am a huge fan of Shiseido skincare products. I like them because I think they are gentle yet effective for controlling oil. However, I can't say I think it is the best out of all department store brands because the only other dept store skincare brand I've tried is Clinique! For example, the bio oil was not moisturizing enough for me in the winter but I still have oily to oily/combination skin in the fall/winter. Many factors can account for acne, dull skin, etc. such as hormones, your diet, sleep habits, weather conditions, your skin type, your skin regimen, use of products that may not agree with your skin. Overdrying the skin will stimulate your oil glands and can further make you break out. DO moisturize! It's just a matter of finding the right one for your skin type. Personally for myself less is more. Try to not use any face washes that make your skin feel too tight and dry but if you do make sure to moisturize your skin really well! It is pretty much a balancing act to maintain your skin's moisture. If you are wondering why my skin is glowing? Let's get more personal now. Usually before my period starts up until about the third to fourth day of my period, my skin is clearer and brighter. I still do get spots but somehow my complexion just looks better. While this was filmed this was on the second day of my period. After my period ends, I find that this is when I start getting a few more spots here and there. Last but not least, I do NOT have flawless or perfect skin. There are times where my skin will look better due to hormones but overall I have enlarged and clogged pores <b>...</b>

Many times, oily skin is an adverse effect of using products that over-dry skin, irritate skin, or the result of over cleansing skin. You cannot change the amount of oil that your body naturally produces, but you can prevent your body from producing excess oil. I recommend using a gentle, WATER-SOLUBLE cleanser 2 times a day. Once in the morning and once at night. Many people, including myself have had luck with brands like cetaphil and purpose (by J&J), but my FAVORITE cleanser is by Clean & Clear called "Foaming Facial Cleanser for Sensitive Skin" Also, try using an oil-free moisturizer, in this video I recommend Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Moisture Gel, which does an excellent job of moisturizing while creating a smooth, matte finish. However, there are many great moisturizers on the market that are oil-free and contain beneficial ingredients. Finally, I also recommend trying oil Make Up For Ever HD Microfinishing Powder. This is a pure white silica power that can be used on any shade of skin. You can find this at sephora, for $15 for a small size or $30 for a large. This stuff is AWESOME! I swear by this. I don't buy facial scrubs anymore. What you need: 1) 3 NONcoated Aspirin (cheap brand works) 2) A little honey 3) Some water 4) 5-10 minutes QUESTIONS: Can I use something other than aspirin? Aspiring has certain ingredients in it that you should use for the aspirin mask. Also it's called an "aspirin mask", not a tylenol mask. How often do I do this? Typically you can do it whenever you want a refresher. But for dry skin do it no more than once a week. For oily skin do it no more than twice a week. Can I mix it with something other than honey? I use my face wash sometimes, my body wash as a body scrub, you can use olive oil, mayo (yes it's good for your skin), anything that's good for your skin and is somewhat thick.
