HMHS Britannic - Sleeping Sun
At 8:12AM on November 21, 1916, the HMHS Britannic shook with an explosion. With the damage she sustained and a few malfunctions, she reached her flooding limit (six watertight compartments); unfortunately, nurses had opened the portholes to ventilate rooms (against orders) and, as the bow sank further into the water and reached these portholes, the ship was overwhelmed. Captain Bartlett, attempting to save his ship, tried to beach the ship on the island of Kea, unsuccessfully. Within 55 minutes, at 9:07AM, the HMHS Britannic descended into the Kea Channel, following her sister in being a time capsule. Thankfully, of the roughly 1100 people aboard her at the time, only thirty were killed. These fatalities were due to the propellors, as two lifeboats, launched without authorization and without Bartlett's knowledge, drifted into them as Captain Bartlett attempted to beach the ship. Sinking of the Britannic (Yurinimous Productions)
This is the movie/animation about the sinking of the HMHS Britannic in 1916. The plot focuses on the ship's final voyage (Southampton to Greece), and its tragic sinking in the Kea Channel. Music is from various tracks on the Titanic Soundtrack and Back to Titanic. If there are any inaccuracies and criticisms, I would appreciate any comments. Any bad/malicious comments will be deleted. This is the the first attack on Britannic in the movie. Note that there are lots of limitation when I make this video, I have alreadytry my best to recreate every screen in the movie, but still have a lot of differences compare to the movie. Main different is the ship that destroy the submarine is totally different from the movie, because I cannot find a model for HMS Victoria, I just choose a ship with depth charge.

The HMHS Britannic was a british passenger ship for a short time.The ship was also used as a war ship and a royal mail steamer.The Britannic was created in 1911 ,about the time when its sister ships Olympic and Titanic were being built.The only lucky sister was Olympic wich ended work in 1937.The ships reason of sinking is still a mystery.No one knows if a mine sank Britannic or if a torpedo did the trick but one thing for sure is that those people who survived had a tragic tale to tell.Afterwards the survivors paddled there way back to shore only to tell the brittish addmeralty that the true unsinkable had sank on that date of november 21st 1916 12:13 am .

READ DESCRIPTION!! This is my first real youtube video so it's NOT very good at all. I don't have any video clips in it because idk how to get them =P. And I was reallyyyy tired when I made this so I know I have some mistakes DON'T BITCH ABOUT THEM! Let me know what you think =] I left out a lot of information about the ship because I figured most people watching this video already know enough about the ship. But the Britannic was taken for war service right after she was launched and converted into a hospital ship. She is also the sister of the Titanic and Olympic. The pictures in the video that show her with a black hull are either right as she was being launched or are paintings. The ship was slightly larger than the Titanic and Olympic and had improved watertight compartments and double hull. There were enough lifeboats put in. The ship was somewhat rushed through construction because she was needed as a hosptial ship. Some say that the builders skipped a few things that should have been done for safe service. She never entered commercial service because she was sunk before she had the chance. She is around 885 feet long and about 50000 tons (ABOUT!!) I DO NOT OWN AND OF THE PICTURES USED OR THE MUSIC. HMHS Britannic! Minecraft
HMHS Britannic was the third and largest Olympic-class ocean liner of the White Star Line. She was the sister ship of RMS Olympic and RMS Titanic, and was intended to enter service as a transatlantic passenger liner. She was launched just before the start of the First World War and was laid up at her builders in Belfast for many months before being put to use as a hospital ship in 1915. In that role she struck a mine off the Greek island of Kea, in the Kea Channel on 21 November 1916, and sank with the loss of 30 lives.

Vid about the hospital ship HMHS Britannic. Intended to become the largest British-built liner, the larger sister of the Titanic never carried a paying passenger across the Atlantic. During her fitting-out the Great War erupted and the britannic was completed in 1915 as an Hospital Ship. Commanded by one of the White Star's best officers, Charles "Iceberg Charlie" Bartlett, she brought home thousands of wounded soldiers from Greece. On the sixth round voyage the fatality occurred: she hit a mine in the Kea Channel. Her system of watertight doors failed due to the explosion, and the Britannic sank in 57minutes.
