UK Jewish MP: Israel acting like Nazis in Gaza

"Israel was born out of Jewish Terrorism" Tzipi Livnis Father was a Terrorist" Astonishing claims in the House of Parliament. SIR Gerald Kaufman, the veteran Labour MP, yesterday compared the actions of Israeli troops in Gaza to the Nazis who forced his family to flee Poland. During a Commons debate on the fighting in Gaza, he urged the government to impose an arms embargo on Israel. Sir Gerald, who was brought up as an orthodox Jew and Zionist, said: "My grandmother was ill in bed when the Nazis came to her home town a German soldier shot her dead in her bed. "My grandmother did not die to provide cover for Israeli soldiers murdering Palestinian grandmothers in Gaza. The present Israeli government ruthlessly and cynically exploits the continuing guilt from gentiles over the slaughter of Jews in the Holocaust as justification for their murder of Palestinians." He said the claim that many of the Palestinian victims were militants "was the reply of the Nazi" and added: "I suppose the Jews fighting for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto could have been dismissed as militants." He accused the Israeli government of seeking "conquest" and added: " They are not simply war criminals, they are fools."

State Opening of Parliament - 945 years of British Parliamentary Constitutional Monarchy

The British form of government is one of the most stable forms of government in the world. For 945 years, the British unitary parliamentary democracy-constitutional monarchy system has evolved through time but its essence and legal procedures remain intact. 1066 was the beginning of the establishment of a constitutional monarchy in England. Through years of peace and conflict, the form of government has evolved and united England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. Since 1522, after the restoration of the monarchy with King Charles II, the reigning monarch convenes both Houses to mark the commencement of the new session of Parliament. This has been done yearly for 488 years. The British Monarchy is the oldest constitutional monarchy in the world As a constitutional monarchy, while The Sovereign is Head of State the ability to make and pass legislation resides with an elected Parliament. Although the British Sovereign no longer has a political or executive role, he or she continues to play an important part in the life of the nation. As Head of State, The Monarch undertakes constitutional and representational duties which have developed over one thousand years of history. In addition to these State duties, The Monarch has a less formal role as 'Head of Nation'. The Sovereign acts as a focus for national identity, unity and pride; gives a sense of stability and continuity; officially recognizes success and excellence; and supports the ideal of voluntary service ...

Christopher Hitchens on Thatcherism and British Parliament - Viewer Call-In Part 6 (1990)

June 18, 1990 www.amazon.com Watch the full program: thefilmarchived.blogspot.com Thatcherism describes the conviction politics, economic and social policy, and political style of the British Conservative politician Margaret Thatcher, who was leader of her party from 1975 to 1990. It also describes the ideology and wider political culture of the British government while Thatcher was Prime Minister between May 1979 and November 1990, and beyond into the governments of John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown. The Premiership of Margaret Thatcher began on 4 May 1979, with a mandate to reverse the UK's economic decline and to reduce the role of the state in the economy. Thatcher was incensed by one contemporary view within the Civil Service, that its job was to manage the UK's decline from the days of Empire, and she wanted the country to assert a higher level of influence and leadership in international affairs. She was a philosophic soul-mate of Ronald Reagan, elected in 1980 in the United States, and to a lesser extent Brian Mulroney, who was elected in 1984 in Canada. Conservatism now became the new dominant political philosophy in many Western Nations dubbed neo-conservatism. Indeed after years of socialist political dominance, Thatcher would go on to radically transform Britain more so than other leaders in Britain since the Second World War, rejuvenating a stagnant world power but socially dividing much of the population. US GOVERNMENT TRANSFORMS INTO A BRITISH COLONIAL PARLIAMENT FOR THE NAU

WELCOME THE NORTH AMERICAN UNION America is in the process of being reduced to a Third-world nation. Never in the history of America has a president reduce the powers of the Congress to a 12 body super-congress that is scheduled to take over the legislative process this November 2011. This new supper-congress will determine which policies of austerity and fascism is best suitable for the American people. The next change over is the takedown of the American Flag and replace it with a North American Union Flag ... with a British Flag flying above it, or even worse, a Chinese flag. When this happens ... will the American people finally wake up and realize what has happened? The reality of warfare waged against America and the American people from a foreign enemy is a realty that needs to be realized. Let's be clear, the British people are not the enemy here. However, the British Empire is the enemy of the United States of America. Has been and still is to this very day. Make now mistake about it. Some say the British Empire fizzed out years ago and that there is no "empire" to speak of. The reality is that the empire has been operating in full force behind closed doors in collaboration with unseen force that are greater in power influencing and shaping national and international policies in service to the interest of this untouchable shadow government of the world. This is not a war fought with military arms and troop invasions. This has been a silent invisible war, so-to ...

Ronald Reagan - Address to the British Parliament (Part 2 0f 4)

(June 8, 1982) President Ronald Reagan delivered this 1982 speech to members of the British Parliament in the Royal Gallery at the Palace of Westminster in London. It contains one of the more memorable phrases spoken during his presidency, in which he predicts the eventual downfall of Communism, stating that it will be left on the 'ash heap of history.' The President eloquently explains the reasons behind his staunch opposition to Communism while encouraging the British to aid in the worldwide struggle for freedom, recalling the success of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill in the fight against Nazi tyranny. This speech occurred during a period of heightened tensions between the United States and Communist Russia (the Soviet Union) which at that time dominated much of Eastern Europe and was attempting to spread its influence in other countries as well, a provocative endeavor adamantly opposed by President Reagan.

'US of Europe total disgrace, collapsing as we speak'

The British Parliament has voted overwhelmingly against holding a referendum on leaving the European Union. A petition of over 100 thousand signatures from the public had called for the debate. The government earlier ordered its MPs to vote against the motion - or face penalties. Despite this, dozens of David Cameron's party members defied the order, in what's been the biggest internal challenge he's faced as Prime Minister. But Jon Gaunt, from the 'Vote UK out of the EU' campaign, says Britain never signed up for what the EU turned out to be. RT on Twitter twitter.com RT on Facebook www.facebook.com

UK to close borders, evacuate expats if euro collapses

As Eurozone nations sink ever deeper into crisis, the UK Treasury is working on a contingency plan for the single currency's collapse. It includes capital control measures that, under EU rules, require agreement from most of the Union members. Britain is also prepared to close its borders and evacuate expats and holidaymakers from the effected countries. Robert Oulds, president of the Bruge Groups of campaigners against excess unification in Europe says many countries will benefit if euro collapses.
