Co-workers: Suspect in BK boy's murder was quiet (07/13/11) KENSINGTON - Co-workers and neighbors of Levi Aron, the suspect in the killing of an 8-year-old Brooklyn boy, are in shock over his alleged involvement in the murder. Levi Aron, 35, was taken into custody early this morning by detectives searching for Leiby Kletzy. Police say Aron has been living alone in an apartment building occupied by his parents and other relatives in Kensington. Investigators say some of the boy's remains were found inside Aron's refrigerator, while other remains were found in a dumpster a few miles away in Sunset Park. Michael Panzer, the owner of the hardware store where Aron worked, says the suspect mostly stayed to himself and was very quiet. One woman, who refused to be named, says she saw Aron act angrily towards others in the store. Sources say Aron had lived in Memphis, Tenn., before moving to New York and had an order of protection against him dating from 2006.

Craig Mack (born May 10, 1971) is an American Grammy nominated rapper who gained fame on Puff Daddy's Bad Boy Entertainment record label in the 1990s. Although his first single was released under the name MC EZ in 1988, he is best known for his 1994 hit single "Flava In Ya Ear", which was released under his real name. The remix of the single was the breakout appearance of The Notorious BIG, as well as one of the first solo appearances by Busta Rhymes. (7.20.11) At a somber early evening news conference Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes announced a Grand Jury indictment against Levi Aron, the so-called 'Butcher of Brooklyn' accused of killing 8 year old Leiby Kletzky. The grand jury handed down 8 count indictment 2 counts of felony murder The 35 year old accused child killer has pleaded not guilty to murder and kidnapping charges although he has reportedly implicated himself in a written statement and on video. 8 year old Lieby Kletzky was smothered and drugged. Those grisly details emerging from the New York City Medical Examiner's autopsy. The results reveal the little boy was given painkillers and muscle relaxants before he was murdered. We also learned at today's news conference that the boy may have had a chance to escape or ask for help. The DA says Aron took Lieby Kletzky with him to a wedding in upstate New York. And on the way there or back surveillance video shows they stopped at a gas station where Lieby used the restroom. Detectives have spoken to the gas station clerk. The medical examiner says the murdered child's blood contained traces of: prescription muscle relaxants antipsychotic and pain medication There's no evidence of sexual abuse.
