It started in April 2010 in the Bogong High Plains in the Victorian Alpine National Park. Passively trapped as a 6 year old stallion, he had never seen people. This was all about to change. His new life begun with me and what an amazing journey it was, one I will never forget and I'm sure he won't either. Together we have achieved so much, some highlights being bareback and bridle-less riding, placing 1st in the ridden Brumby class at Ballarat show 2011, and his 2 magazine appearances! 20 months later and he has moved onto his new family to continue his journey. Everyone who has met this fantastic boy loves him, just as his new family already do. Thanks to everyone who has supported Bondy and I throughout this wonderful experience, I truly appreciate it. I thought this song was fitting... He had everything to loose, literally. Many Brumbies are not as lucky as Bondy... most end up at a slaughter house, where no horse should be sent. Without the work that the rescue groups such as the Victorian Brumby Association do Bondy too would have met this horrible fate. I know that he is happy now in his new life and he will have many more happy years with humans who love him as partners in his life. THIS IS YOUR LIFE Bondy and you deserve every moment.
