Basia Bulat - Before I Knew (Subaru Commercial Song)

Download the Mp3 here: adf.ly This is that song in that 2009 Subaru commercial. People have been wondering what it was (including me) so I decided to share what it was after I found out :) Enjoy! Maybe this video will help people like me that had a hard time finding what it was. I put what people might want to search for in the tags lol I love this song. It is WAY too short though :( Lyrics: Oh it was the first time I fell in love The first time I felt my heart Was the first time I sang out loud, all through the night But before I knew it, I was lost Before I knew I was a prisoner And I still can't find a way, to make it right.

The Pilgriming Vine - Basia Bulat

Sometime now I've been divine in the end of a snowy morning Sometime now I've been afraid that the pilgriming vine is Finally coming to take me I could be one of them waiting I could be one of them falling down below So quietly wishing my only Never looks down mother maple If he goes Never looks down if he goes Tomorrow I'll know if the silver in your eyes Crossing down on your cheek And tomorrow I'll know by the rubies in your voice They've been calling your name to me lately You have been one of them waiting I have been one of them falling Down below so Tell me you're always my only Never look down mother maple If I go Never look down if I go Sometime now I've been divine in the end of a snowy morning Sometime now I've been afraid that the pilgriming vine is Finally coming to take me Taste it and tell me it's savoury Hold it up high to the light and Let it grow and Tell me you're always my only Never look down mother maple If you go Never look down if you go

Bulat Okudzava - Ballad Of Soldiers' Boots

Do You hear, the clatter of soldiers boots? And see a wind of birds in insane flight? And women looking from under the hand? Do you understand what theyre looking at? Do You hear the rattle of drums? Soldier, say good-bye to her, good-bye to her Platoon departs into a fog of dust And only the past looks brighter, brighter, brighter. Soldier, where did we leave our courage, When we retreating and coming back? probably women are stealing it and keeping it safely in their breasts But friend, what are our women gona do The moment when we cross our threshold? They will welcome us and lead into home But the house is full of odor of theft And we ignore the past; it is a lie And we hope for the future; it is light But on the fields dwell only crows And behind them war is stepping in And again the echo of soldier boots, and the wind of birds in insane flight? and women look from under the hand they look at the back of our necks

Okudżawa, Ostatni Trolejbus; Окуджава, Последний троллейбус

"The Last Trolley Bus" - a song by the famous Georgian-Moscovian poet Bulat Okudzhava set to some images of Moscow at night, trolley buses, Okudzhava himself, etc. Then something strange happens - when the song would usually praise the value of silence the poet does indeed go silent and only the Polish subtitles go on with the text. And then something even more strange - the guitar music ends but the text continues accompanied by original photo and sound of a Moscow morning.

basia bulat little waltz

You and I,we make a grand salute.. stare at each other like lost little birds..across the room and I remember the way you looked.. I learned how to dance, but I'd never shown it to you.. my love.. I know I was wrong, but you know that you'll always be, my love.. stay for a while, while our leaves are still green please..for me.. I know I tried, but it's hard sometimes.. the roots don't take it,takes a while, and you pull at the strings but they're broken,it seems.. the dance isn't over for me,no.. my love.. I know I was wrong, but you know..that you'll always be my love.. stay for a while while our leaves are still green please, for me..

Basia Bulat - Touch The Hem Of His Garment (Studio Version)

Download the Mp3 here: adf.ly This is Basia Bulat's rendition of Sam Cooke's 1956 song, "Touch The Hem Of His Garment". Basia Bulat is one of my favorite musical artists of all time, easily in my top 5. She makes beautiful music, and did a fantastic cover of this song. Since there were no studio versions uploaded here onto YouTube, I took the liberty in uploading it for my fellow Basia fans out there to listen to. I bought the song off of iTunes. Another way you can get the song is to buy her 7" vinyl record entitled, "Touch The Hem Of His Garment". It comes with this song, and an extended version of "Before I Knew". I bought it, and I don't regret it at all :] (Why would I? lol) Lyrics: Oh, there was a woman in the Bible days She had been sick, sick so very long She heard that Jesus was passing by So she joined the gathering throne And while she was pushing her way through Someone had asked her, "What are you trying to do?" She said, "Oh I could just touch the hem of his garment, then I know I'll be made whole right now." She cried "Oh lord, oh lord, oh lord, oh lord!" Said, "If I could just touch the hem of his garment, then I know I'll be made whole again." She spent her money here and there Until she had no, had no more to spare The doctors, they'd done all they could But their medicine would do no good When she touched him, the savior didn't see Still he turned around and cried, "Somebody touched me!" She said, "It was I who just want to touch the hem of your garment <b>...</b>
