Today I made 2 covers; Soooo, here's the first one :) It's another cover of Bumblefoot, it's called "Real" and it is the 2nd track of the album "Normal". This song is pretty crazy and I love it! I learnt it by ear and I tuned my bass one half step down to play that low Eb, but I guess you don't need to do it if you just hit the octave like I did most of the time. About the stuff I used for this cover, I used my Tuscany Swing White Bass, MarkBass Compressore (but I'm planning on using my Boss CS-3 again instead of this one) and SansAmp BDDI. The sound is recorded through my Presonus AudioBox USB with the Direct Output from the amp and one mic in front of the 3x12" speaker. (sorry for the little mistakes!) Love, David.

Yo people! I'm going to play with an RHCP Tribute band next week, in Brasil, so I HAD to make a new cover before leaving! This one is from Bumblefoot! Filo, the guitar player from my band (Deep Kick) made me discover that band, especially the crazy guitar hero Ron Thal (spelling!) and then I fell in love with that album, called "Normal". I learnt the song by ear (as usual) and I know I'm not playing the original bassline all the time, but I just liked to play it this way! Hope you'll like it! sorry for the little mistakes though.. PS: For the bass geeks, this is my SX-PJB bass, I just swapped the neck with my Blade levison B4 from 1989 because it's one of the most comfortable neck ever and it feels really great on a P-bass body! The pickups are stock, I'm planning to change them for some EMG PJ when I get the money :)
