The Bund Sightseeing Tunnel Shanghai
This has to be one of the most surreal, psychedlic and fun forms of public transport that I've been on. The Tunnel connects East Nanjin Rd on the Bund, and Pudong near the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, running under the Huangpu river. You take a psychedelic trip in a glass capsule along the 647 metre flashing, strobing tunnel. Takes about 5 mins. Not really the most exciting thing to watch in real time as video doesn't quite capture it, so I sped the footage up.

4. China - Shanghai The Bund
Sights of magnificent The Bund "Wai Tan", and alittle of the Oriental Pearl Tower. The dates show different season-look of The Bund in my random visits. Late winter, mid spring. The Bund stretches one mile along the bank of the Huangpu River. It has dozens of historical buildings, that once housed numerous banks and trading houses from all over the world. The Bund houses 52 buildings of various architectural styles such as Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, Neo-Classical, Beaux-Arts, and Art Deco (Shanghai has one of the richest collections of Art Deco architectures in the world). I finally managed to organise & upload my China videos here (more in my Channel). These were taken during 3-month stay in Shanghai, 2006.

The Bund (simplified Chinese: 外滩; traditional Chinese: 外灘; pinyin: Wàitān) is an area of Huangpu District in Shanghai, People's Republic of China. The area centres on a section of Zhongshan Road (East-1 Zhongshan Road) within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River, facing Pudong, in the eastern part of Huangpu District. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. Pudong (simplified Chinese: 浦东; traditional Chinese: 浦東; pinyin: Pǔdōng), officially known as Pudong New Area (浦東新區, pinyin: Pǔdōng Xīn Qū), is a district of Shanghai, China. Since the beginning of its development in 1990 when plans were first announced, Pudong has emerged as China's financial and commercial hub. Pudong is home to the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone and a skyline that includes the Oriental Pearl Tower and the Jin Mao Tower, symbolic of Shanghai and China's economic development.

The Battle of Stalingrad was a major battle of World War II in which Nazi Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union for control of the city of Stalingrad (now Volgograd) in southwestern Russia. The battle took place between 17 July 1942 and 2 February 1943 and was among the largest on the Eastern Front, and was marked by its brutality and disregard for military and civilian casualties. It was amongst the bloodiest battles in the history of warfare with the higher estimates of combined casualties amounting to nearly two million deaths. The outcome was disastrous for Germany, and proved to be a turning point in the war for the Allies, making a German victory in the East impossible. A collection of over 200 historical newsreels. Each newsreel runs approximately 3 minutes and covers the most important events of the first half of the 20th century.

Basti Lämmle lebt bei seinem Kollegen Martin, beide sind in die WG-Mitbewohnerin Valeska verliebt. Um der Bundeswehr zu entgehen, will Basti bei der Musterung schummeln, doch sein Gutachten vom Hausarzt wird vom Musterungsarzt noch nicht einmal gelesen. Als er zur Abgabe der Urinprobe in die Toilette geht, lernt er Schleifer kennen, der falsche Urinproben verkauft. Basti kann Schleifer überreden, seine letzte Urinprobe mit ihm zu teilen, doch die Probe stammt von Schleifers Freundin, die unter Diabetes leidet -- und schwanger ist! Daher werden Basti und Schleifer tauglich geschrieben. Zu Hause angekommen, setzt er sich sofort daran, seine Verweigerung zu schreiben. Drei Monate später -- Basti und Valeska sind ein Paar - wird er von den Feldjägern während seiner Abiparty abgeholt und in die Grundausbildung gesteckt. Der Grund: Bastis Mitbewohner Martin hat die Verweigerung verbrannt, weil er hofft, so an Valeska heranzukommen. Beim Bund angekommen trifft er seinen Freund Schleifer wieder, der sich mit allerhand „Geschäften" über Wasser hält. Die beiden sind auf einer Stube mit dem schrulligen Ufo, dem verwöhnten Justus, dem harten Türken Nefzat und Zonk, der zum BND will. Nach anfänglichen Differenzen werden die sechs zu einer starken Gruppe, die zusammen in einem Wettkampf gegen eine Gruppe US-Berufssoldaten antreten soll. Diesen Wettkampf verlieren die Deutschen schon traditionell. Basti will jedoch so schnell wie möglich aus der Bundeswehr heraus. Da die nachträgliche <b>...</b>
