Bought this game for 10$ during the Thanksgiving steam sale. Was great fun if you don't mind having Russian accents flood your subconscious like a gallon of vodka. I hope you all enjoy my attempt at a Russian accent if you can even call it that... was more like a constant moan that I spent three pain staking hours slapping text over. If you hear any strange noises or unbalanced audio in the voices then its probably Oat's fault who was in a Skype call during just about my entire play-through of this game. :P Lemme know if you like this style of commentary / text or whatnot. And here comes the opening music! I love this part. Bubbe is now ready to make the stuffed cabbage which is a favorite for everyone. It is harvest time since it is succos. Bubbe explains how cabbage is a vegetable from the earth and the combination of why stuffed cabbage is perfect for succos. It has many names like stuffed cabbage. Lets not forget cabbage rolls, and the polish they call it gowumpki. In Yiddish, because you didnt think we would leave that out, it is holishkes. Like Ellen, Bubbe loves the sweet and sour sauce. Bubbe got herself a semi-large head of cabbage, not wanting anything smaller then 3 - 3 1/2 pounds. The worst part of the process is preparing the cabbage and this is what Bubbe is working on now. Korean meals are usually served with rice, soup, and other side dishes. Just in case you don't know what doenjang is, I'm telling you that doenjang is Korean fermented soy bean paste. You could make so many different kinds of doenjang guk using different vegetables such as spinach, potato, radish leaves, fresh mugwort (ssuk)... Of all the vegetables, baechu (napa cabbage) doenjang guk is the most basic soup and every Korean loves it. (Let me know if you find any Korean who doesn't like this soup) : ) I will give you a short quiz now. : ) What would you call doenjang guk made with spinach? ... pause ... yes, it's called shigeumchi doenjang guk. Shigeumchi is spinach in Korean. Heh, it's easy, right? When my grandmother made this soup, she always used milky rice water instead of water. Every day she made a huge amount of rice to feed her family. When she washed, rubbed, and rinsed her rice grains, she got the milky water. When she made doenjang guk, she used that milky rice water in her pot. When I was in middle school, the lady next door ran a restaurant. She sold baechu doenjang guk. She and my mother were friends, so we were like family. Most of her soup customers were male workers who needed a cheap and simple breakfast before starting work early in the morning. .State fair, county fair, we have a winner, poor man's hot dish, seriously a blue ribbon will be taken home with this delicious stovetop el-cheapo and easy to cook, just good old southern comfort food, hamburger (ground chuck) @$2.78, saute until brown, quartered and added last one medium size green cabbage 1.89 lb. @$1.30, diced and sauted one big yellow sweet onion from Peru .58 lb. @.81 cents, two cans store brand canned tomatoes two for .58 cents each @$1.16, throw in some sea salt and ground black pepper, it's the only seasoning you need, cooked in a Lodge 10 and 1/2 inch cast iron skillet, made in the USA, bought at a yard sale for two dollars, seasoned well, used daily,, thank you, add sales tax, electricity, about eight bucks total, not bad for an amazing, unbelievably good four serving home cooked supper, along with the worlds best asparagus cornbread baked in a no name #5 eight inch cast iron frying pan, add a homemade bread pudding for dessert, (recipe later) cost a little more but worth it,, cook the hot dish on low to medium heat for about 45 minutes, until the cabbage is tender, enjoy, leave a comment, subscribe, pass it on, enjoy the show, thanks from the east coast of Arkansas, get back dog! get back!........

Yangbaechu Moochim (양배추 무침) is a simple Korean side-dish recipe that I learned from one of my Korean friends in America. When you want to eat Kimchi, but don't have it, this cabbage side-dish can be a substitute. The taste is a little spicy, sour, and sweet. Depending on your tastes, you can add or reduce some of the ingredients such as pepper powder, vinegar, sugar, or salt. Cabbage is a very healthy vegetable, it is especially good for your stomach. Here is the recipe: Ingredients: 3 1/2 lb red cabbage (1 medium head), quartered, cored, and thinly sliced crosswise 4 bacon slices, chopped 1 tablespoon unsalted butter 2 large sweet onions, thinly sliced 1/2 cup white-wine vinegar 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar 1 tablespoon salt 1 teaspoon black pepper preparation Rinse cabbage under cold water, then drain (do not pat dry). Cook bacon in an 8-quart heavy pot over moderately low heat, stirring, until crisp, about 3 minutes. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon, reserving it for another use. Add butter to bacon fat, then increase heat to moderate and cook onions, stirring, until golden brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Stir in cabbage, vinegar, brown sugar, salt, and pepper and simmer, covered, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 1 1/4 hours.
