Carl came back on the show to give you, the viewers and the intimate audience at Brug 9 an exclusive taste of the latest mixes and tracks that have been released for his USB album "All Roads Lead To The Dancefloor" Dan Tait hosted the show while Carl spun, as always across four CDJ-2000s and a DJM-2000, and for this party used the SDJ-08 speakers as monitors. Pioneer hosted a special workshop space over the duration of the conference where we could show off the new DDJ-ERGO-V and white SDJ-05's and give masterclasses on rekordbox and the CDJ-2000's.

Steve reveals how many opening and closings he has done and how he uses the CDJ-2000s and DJM-2000 to control Traktor. Mark Knight enthuses about his new Toolroom Knights residency this summer on Mondays and how the DJM-900 nexus has evolved from the DJM-800. Space can have a very moving effect on even the most seasoned clubber explains Carl who also cites the importance of the IMS as a factor in the success of the now, gigantic opening weekend. The Space Opening spectacle again took place over two nights, Saturday and Sunday and stayed open to a leg-wobbling midday on Sunday! Always trying to better themselves the incredible talent playing across the two parties and eye popping visuals and performances plus compulsory CO2 cannons made sure the Ibiza season kicked off with a bang. www.A3Network.com Carl Cox "30 Years As A DJ". Cox grew up in Oldham, Lancashire, before attending Glastonbury High Boys secondary modern school on Glastonbury Road in Morden. Cox began his career as a hardcore and rave DJ in the mid 1980s. He was named the "Three Deck Wizard" after playing on three turntables simultaneously at the Second Summer of Love in 1988. He has performed at clubs such as The Eclipse, Edge, Shelly's, Sterns Nightclub, Heaven, Sir Henry's in Cork, Ireland and Angels and The Haçienda, as well as raves for Fantazia, Dreamscape, and Amnesia House. He now spearheads two record labels, Intec Records and 23rd Century Records. He also ran Ultimate Base at the now defunct Velvet Underground on Charing Cross Road in the mid to late 1990s. Of his many DJ highlights, he also managed to cram in the Millenium NY twice by flying and cheating the timezones. He has had shows on Kiss FM and was a monthly live, global resident for BBC Radio One's Essential Mix in 1998--99, as well as over a decades worth of Ibiza live mixes broadcast from Club Space. Cox was the first person to be named number one DJ in the world, on DJ Magazine 's Top 100 DJ poll, when he won in 1997
