This video is kind of special. It was our first opportunity to play on the "Big Stage" at the yearly "Messiah Conference". We were asked to play only two weeks before the conference. They asked for this song because the theme of the conference was "Mayim Chaim-Streams of Living Water". We didn't even have the track yet! We asked our producer to email it as an mp3 file so that we could rehearse it, and he would bring the full track to us at the onference. We had to learn the track version of the song (we'd been doing it slightly differently) and I had to choreograph the dance and teach it to the girls. Then we had to rehearse it enough to be at least somewhat comfortable with it, all in two weeks! Needless to say we did it! Praise God for His grace. I hope you enjoy it!

Favorite Artists: Chaim Soutine
Chaim Soutine is another of my favorite Jewish artists. Born in Russia in 1893, he emigrated to France in 1913 and took up residence in Montparnasse. His best friend was Amedeo Modigliani, the Italian artist who had reached Paris seven years earlkier. A poor struggling artist obsessed with form and color, Soutine horrified his neighbors keeping a dead animal carcass in his studio so he could paint it. He remained relatively unknown until 1923, when an American visited his studio and bought 60 of his paintings. Soutine died in August of 1943 of a perforated ulcer.

Rabbi Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg Passes Away at 101
Jerusalem - Rabbi Chaim Pinchas Scheinberg, the Rosh Yeshiva of Mattersdorf prominent Yeshiva Torah Ore, one of Kiryat Mattersdorf's most highly regarded Rabbonim, and a member of Moetzes Gedolei Hatorah, who was renowned for wearing dozens of pairs of tzitzis passed away this afternoon Sha'arei Tzedek hospital, at the age of one hundred and one. R' Scheinberg who was born in Ostrov, Poland to his parents, R' Yaakov Yitzchok and Yosefa in 1910, spent the first nine years of his life not knowing his father who had gone to America to avoid the Polish draft. R' Yaakov Yitzchok lost countless jobs due to his refusal to work on Shabbos and became so destitute he slept alongside the FDR Drive with only a blanket, a pillow and an umbrella, while his wife earned money milking cows at dawn for Polish farmers, using some of her wages to hire a melamed for her son Chaim who, even at a young age, already displayed an incredible aptitude for limud Torah. While the family lost contact during World War I, they managed to reconnect after the war and by 1919 R' Yaakov Yitzchak had opened a tailor shop and was able to bring his wife and two sons to America. R' Scheinberg lived as a child on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, first attending public school, then enrolling in the Rabbi Jacob Joseph School for several years. R' Scheinberg was invited by Rabbi Yaakov Yosef Herman, a pioneer of Torah Judaism in the early 1900's who was profiled in the book All For The Boss, to transfer to R <b>...</b>

She wrote Eli, Eli after a walk on Israel's shoreline near Caesaria. She was executed by the Nazis on Nov. 7, 1944, at the young age of 23.
