Beginning Development of a powerful Chinese Navy CCTV News

Through 60-years of development, the surface force of the PLA Navy has transformed into a maritime force with various kinds of vessels, including destroyers, frigates, and torpedo boats. It also has a strong ability to work with air and land forces. Now, let's take a look at its birth and growth. The Chinese Navy was founded in 1949, with two fleets made up of 20 poorly-equipped vessels. Four years later, China bought four advanced ships from the Soviet Union. For the next 20 years, they became the Chinese navy's most powerful surface ships. The 1970s saw the navy make a big step forward from importing and imitating other countries' ships to designing and producing vessels on its own. China has developed three generations of home-produced surface ships since then. The "Ji Nan" of the North Sea Fleet marked the first generation. During its 36-year service, it has conducted more than 14-hundred arming exercises, including equipping missiles, artilleries, and battle command system. In the 1990s, the second generation of home-produced destroyers made their debut, representing a modernized ship with missile-launching capacity, "Ha Er" and its sister ship "Qing Dao." The joint military exercises between Russia and China in 2005 marked the third generation of missile destroyers becoming the backbone of Chinese navy forces. Since then, China's navy force has entered an era of rapid-expansion. The navy is now well-armed with escort ships, speedboats, gunboats, minesweepers and ...

Chinese Navy SpecOps Firing Drills

SpecOps of the PLAN (Chinese Navy) doing firing and close quarter combat drills on the helicopter landing deck of DDG 169 Wuhan belonging to the 9th naval task force on route to the Gulf of Aden before Somalia to combat rampant piracy. Noteworthy: These elite soldiers are wearing the latest VBSS body-armour/load-bearing vests introduced into the PLAN. The VBSS personal armour is a CIRAS (Combat Integrated Releasable Armor System) -type body armour, integrating the load-bearing rig part and the kevlar/hard-plate part with a quick release feature, that allows all armour and combat-load elements to be quickly and easily detached. This feature is especially handy if the operator falls into water during dangerous bording missions and could thus save his life by quickly detaching all weight from his body to swim to the surface. The VBSS armour system is a real life-saver and a critical addition for the effectiveness of the PLAN Marine Special Forces.

Chinese Regime Plans to Go Ahead with Pacific Naval Exercises

For more news visit ☛ english.ntdtv.com Follow us on Twitter ☛ http Follow us on Facebook ☛ me.lt On Wednesday, the Chinese regime said it would go ahead with carrying out Pacific naval exercises—amid concerns over its increasing military power and naval aggression in the South China Sea. The announcement was made after US plans to strengthen its Asia-Pacific military bases and to place 2500 US Marines in the northern Australian city of Darwin. The Chinese Defense Ministry issued a statement saying the drill is not aimed at any country. It stated, "China's freedom of navigation and other legal rights should not be obstructed." According to Japan's Kyodo News Agency, the Japanese Defense Ministry reported six Chinese naval vessels were already in the Pacific—near southern Japan—since Tuesday. Maritime disputes between China and other Asian countries have hit the headlines in recent months. The Chinese regime and five other neighboring countries have claims on portions of the South China Sea—believed to have large oil and gas reserves. Last week at the East Asia Summit in Indonesia, Chinese leader Wen Jiabao warned US President Barack Obama to keep out of the sea dispute.

Jintao's speech to military leaders in Beijing comes amid growing tension in the Asia-Pacific region. China claims all of the oil and gas rich South China Sea, as do 3 other countries. The US looking to boost its presence in the region has also come as a provocation for China.

Chinese vessel blocked from intruding into Vietnam's water

Video taken in October 2011. Tension in the South China Sea has been coming to ahead by China's policy to the SE Asian countries. They share the maritime region of nearly 4 millions square kilometres with more than 200 islets, almost all stay underwater at high tide. In attempt to trespass into Vietnamese water, a marine surveillance vessel of China is allegedly believed to be blocked by Vietnamese marine police. This incident is resulted in increasing conflict since May 26th when China's navy cut off cables from a Vietnamese survey ship in the South China Sea. At a distance within 200 nautical miles of Exclusive Economic Zone of Vietnam, the equipments of Vietnamese ships in order to conduct a seismic explosion survey were destroyed at the time. So many clashes in a row reveal a long-term maritime conflict between the two former Communism brothers in East Asia.

Commie Chinese fishing trawler attack South Korean Navy

Video link showing the confrontation: www.youtube.com China once again sent a fishing boat into another nation's territory. This time it was South Korean waters, near Eocheong Island, North Jeolla. The fishing vessels were met by the South Korean Navy. All but one of the commie fishing vessels scattered. The one lone commie fishing vessel refused to leave and the South Korean Navy attempted to board the vessel. The commies fought the South Korean Navy men with metal pipes and poles. During the confrontation the fishing vessel (62 ton) purposely rammed the South Korean Navy ship (3000 ton), causing the fishing vessel to capsize. Resulting in the fishing crew being thrown into the waters. The fishing vessel captain was injured and taken Gunsan Medical Center at Wonkwang University Hospital, where the captain died. Also one of the fishermen was lost I the waters. Recently a Chinese fishing vessel purposely rammed a Japanese patrol boat off Japan's Senkaku Island. The fishing vessel captain was taken into Japanese custody only to be released later due to lunatic behavior by the commies in Beijing, China (The Middle Kingdom). The release of the captain validated commie behavior causing them to once again ram another nation's naval boat with a fishing vessel. Japan had a video of the incident, however refused to release it as not to infuriate the lunatics further. However a Japanese Coast Guard Chief Mate, Masaharu Isshiki (SKG38 / Sengoku38) posted the video on YouTube. The ...
