1976 Hohner Clavinet D6. New hammer tips, strings and lower Humbucker pickup compliments of Clavinet.com. Preamp board is cracked and it also has a DC plug-in and MXR sustain pedal wired in by a prior owner. Will be undoing the hack job and replacing needed electrical components. And sorry, I'm dragging a little bit in my tempo but mainly because I was concentrating on the left hand. This is how it sounds as of now, but as you can tell it needs some more work. I'm playing out a very old 8" RMS Practice amp. Wah pedal is a Cry Baby 535. Upper keyboard is an old -school Yamaha PSR-50 that I keep around. I'm broke, what can I say? Playing to Burning & Looting by Bob Marley off the Talking Blues album.

I teach a group performance class at Shepherd University in Los Angeles and the class is currently working on some Funk tunes so I have given two of the keyboard students these clavinet parts to learn. The clavinet part 1 is on the left channel and clavinet part 2 is on the right channel. The clavinet parts with the drums last for 16 measures and then the drums by themselves for 16 measures to practice along with. This is a audio comparison between the Original Hohner Clavinet D6 and my recently recorded and edited Audio Samples, played via Native Instruments Kontakt. This Library features 1725 Samples (mono, 44.1 kHz, 16bit) - up to 16 Velocity Layers and a very complex Release Sample Function: different release samples will be played depending on how hard and how long you press a key. This is still the beta-version, but it is already going to work. I played several riffs and licks on both the original and my sample library to give you a good impression on my work.
