The FitzGerald Family from Celbridge, Co. Kildare and Kerry play three Jigs. The first is a jig composed by family member Ciaran aged 11 called 'Baile an Fheirtearaigh' or 'The Ballyferriter Jig'. They follow that with a tune learned by Sean from the fiddler Liz Keane and the third tune is 'Princess Nancy' learned from renowned musician Louise Mulcahy. Ciaran FitzGerald plays two reels on the concert flute - Bonnie Kate & Kiss the Maid Behind the Barrel - both learned from Louise Mulcahy. Ciaran is an All Champion on the flute, in Singing (Sean-nos and English and in spoken Irish (Comhra Gaeilge). He came 2nd on the Concertina at the All Ireland Fleadh Cheoil in Tullamore. He composes his own tunes and plays one of his compositions with his family ,'The FitzGerald family in another comhaltas video.
