Check out new footage of Robert Pattinson on the set of his latest movie in today's PopSugar Rush. While most of us were relaxing over the Memorial Day weekend, Robert Pattinson was hard at work on his next project, Cosmopolis. Robert arrived to the Toronto set on Saturday wearing his standard vintage tee and baseball cap, but when it came time to film a scene, he got into character with a quick costume change. Rob plays a young multimillionaire traveling across Manhattan in the David Cronenberg movie, and he looked every bit the part with his slicked back hair, suit, and tie, as he took a seat at a restaurant counter with his Cosmopolis costar Sarah Gadon. She plays his new wife in the film, which all takes place in one day. A fan captured and posted this video on YouTube of the handsome actor joking around with Sarah and playing with his silverware, and although it's hard to top his onscreen heat with Kristen Stewart, it seems like these two still have some cute chemistry, don't you think? A low-key looking Robert returned to the Cosmopolis set again this morning, but hopefully he'll be able to take a short breather from filming this weekend. Hello everyone, welcome back to ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis at the studio in the heart of Hollywood with breaking news on R-Patz's next big project. The vampy actor will officially be taking over for another actor from the UK, infamous bad boy Collin Farrell. Rob is set to star in "Cosmopolis," which will be an adaptation of a Don DeLillo novel with the same name. Rob's character is a 28 year-old financial wizard and billionaire living the lux Manhattan lifestyle, as evidenced by the fact that he drives through the city in a limo. The plot follows Rob character as he attempts to get a haircut by his father's barber Anthony. However on this particular day, Rob's character and his driver must navigate some crazy situations -- from a presidential visit, to an anarchist attack to a rappers funeral. The catch is that while he attempts to get through the traffic, he's also monitoring his fortune via computer from within the limo, which hangs in balance due to the value of the yen. I'm Joslyn Davis coming to you from the heart of Hollywood with new photos of everyone's favorite vampire good-guy, Robert Pattinson. Except these pics have nothing to do with Twilight and were actually snapped on the set of the British actors new film "Cosmopolis." IN the new photos, we see Rob unlike we've ever seen him before -- he's scary and funny at the same time, with a gun in his hand and cake covering his face. In one of the photos, Robert holds a gun up to a cast-mates chin, except that if our eyes don't deceive us, it appears as though the flip side of his own face is covered in cake frosting. And based on the second photo we're taking a look at, Rob must've gotten into some sort of food fight, and he doesn't look too happy about it -- this is definitely one serious looking face he's got going on. I'm Karli and we've got footage of the actor on set late last night and details about the film in today's PopSugar Rush! Robert Pattinson clocked another night on the set of Cosmopolis on Wednesday, as seen in this footage captured by fans and posted on YouTube. Rob is filming the movie in Toronto and so far, we've seen an eclectic set of scenes being shot. Robert plays a young billionaire who runs into complications on his way to get a haircut in Manhattan. PopSugar's Molly Goodson is here to break it all down. Molly: We've seen Robert wearing a familiar white button-down shirt and dark slacks, but they're not shooting the same scene over and over again. The entire movie takes place in 24 hours, so that's why he's been sporting the same outfit day after day while filming Molly: Rob got a little messy when he filmed a scene where he gets a pie thrown in his face. Turns out, it's a protestor who dishes out the dessert and Rob's character is caught in the crossfire. Molly: Most recently, photographers captured Rob holding a gun. This takes place toward the end of the film when Rob confronts a stalker whose been following him around town. Rob is expected to continue filming Cosmopolis through most of July. The movie is set to come out in 2012.

And according to Paul, who by the way is one of Hollywood most-well-respected actors, Rob's part in the new flick is "very, very tricky," but he was "really at home with it," which left Paul "really impressed." In "Cosmopolis" Rob takes on the role of Eric Packer, a young man working in finance, who has the limo ride of his life in the movie. The entire release will span a time frame of one day, with Eric Packer (aka R-Pattz) hopping in and out of the traffic-stalled car for some romantic rendezvous' and violent altercations. And judging from Robert's co-star's judgment, the movie is going to be a must-see.
