Betty's Good Morning Breakfast Casserole Recipe
In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make her Good Morning Breakfast Casserole recipe. It is a glorious mixture of hash brown potatoes, eggs, Swiss cheese, spices, and topped with bacon. It is refrigerated overnight, to be baked to a crusty brown delight the next morning. Ingredients: 6 oz. package dry hash brown potatoes (I used a 5.2 oz. Betty Crocker Seasoned Skillets hash brown mix that had potatoes, onions, and some seasonings.) 4 cups hot water 5 eggs, well-beaten 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese ½ cup small-curd cottage cheese 1 teaspoon salt dash of ground black pepper a few dashes hot sauce (to taste) ¼ cup sliced green onion tops sprinkling of paprika (to taste) 6 slices bacon, cooked, drained, and chopped cooking oil spray for baking dish In a large bowl, place 6-oz. package dry hash brown potatoes. Pour 4 cups hot water over the hash browns, and let them sit for 10 minutes to soften. Drain well. Meanwhile, in another large mixing bowl, place 5 eggs, and beat with an electric mixer until well-beaten. Combine beaten eggs with drained hash brown potatoes. Add 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese, ½ cup small curd cottage cheese, 1 teaspoon salt, a dash of ground black pepper, a few dashes of hot sauce, and ¼ cup sliced green onion tops. Stir the mixture until well-combined. Pour the mixture into a 10-inch deep-dish pie dish (or similar oven-proof dish) that has been sprayed with cooking oil. Sprinkle with paprika, to taste. This female was in the nest box alot since i put in the nest box for her to be interested but did not know she would lay eggs so soon. her cere is white and blue still and not yet crusty brown. she is laying eggs but the eggs may not be fertile? we will see and do an update if they are fetile.

This is a video of the pair i did earlier and they were succesfull in breeding and having chicks. My female's cere never turned crusty brown and she did not show she was interested in breeding. they layed 7 eggs first time around and are still hatching as of the date of April 10th 2011. i will do another update later when chicks are growing. keep watching for more videos cooming soon.

In most case when a car dealer buys a boat at an auction, it has problems that never cease to amaze me. This one is the norm. It made it up to Tennessee from the coast since it is a flats boat and has seen salt water use. It is a 225 OS66 that has lack of power and customer states has never seems to have run correctly since he has taken it out about seven times. He states it runs OK then dies. Step #1- drop lower and change impeller since it might be trying to overheat and go into limp mode. No wasted time there since it needed one, but old one probably would pump enought as to not overheat. Compression-116-120 x 6, Great spark x 6 on cranking, fuel sample basically clear and clean, fresh fuel with very-very minimal water present in water separtor, VST tank drained and looked good, fuel pressure WNL's at 36 psi running, put in new plugs and ran on dyno ten minutes, inspected plugs, #3 very dry, #1 & #2 slight crusty brown, #3, #4,#5 slightly wet with light black carbon build-up. Cleaned injectors, seems to have perked it up some, but the purpose of video is to let ya'll listen to "Growling Noise" ECM emits after shutting down motor. Very strange!! Has anyone ever heard one that makes noises for 15-20 seconds after shutting down motor? Enjoy the video while I go do a lake test. Thanks Larry NOTE- if you listen to the video, you can hear some backgroung car traffic, but that louder PSSS- PSSS- PSSSS is the noise the ECM is making. Really no kidding- thats coming from the ECM.

Betty's Brown Sugar Glazed Ham Recipe
In this video, Betty demonstrates a Brown Sugar Glazed Ham recipe, dating back to her college days (in the '60's). Being a starving student, Betty almost always had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the university cafeteria. One item that was served repeatedly was Glazed Ham. Betty (using her ever-analyzing food talents) created the following recipe as an imitation of the ham served in the cafeteria, and she has continued to make it throughout her 39 (almost 40!) years of marriage. Ingredients: 1 canned ham (I used Hormel brand, 5 pounds. You may use any brand, and reduce it to 3 pounds, if desired.) 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed 2 tablespoons prepared mustard 1 teaspoon orange juice (You may use another flavor of juice or a juice drink.) Remove the canned ham from the container and place in a crock pot on low for 6 to 8 hours. You may need to cut it into two pieces to get it to fit in the crock pot. When you are ready to put your Brown Sugar Glazed Ham recipe together, remove the ham from the crock pot, and place it on a tray for slicing. Use a kitchen knife, slicer, or electric knife to slice the ham into equal pieces. You may decide to leave some of the ham unglazed for guests who prefer to skip the brown sugar flavor. In a small bowl, mix 1 cup of firmly packed brown sugar with 2 tablespoons of prepared mustard. Use about 1 teaspoon of orange juice to get them to combine. Now spread the tops and bottoms of your sliced ham and place them in an appropriately-sized <b>...</b>
