This dungeon is located on the 2nd floor of the Dark Cathedral in Southern Val Aureum. 2:00 - 3:00 = Start with north room, dodge the traps on the ground, aoe the adds down and kill the big mob, click stone in center then proceed to the 1st east room. 3:00 - 8:00 = Have ranged destroy barrels, they do 50% damage to the mobs, tank and spank after the barrels are destroyed. The 1st set are easy enough, the 2nd set do an aoe dot/snare so they either need to be stunned or positioned individually, 3rd set is same as 1st set. When all the barrel mobs are dealt with, pull the remaining adds in the room 2 or 4 at a time. Note: Pulling caster add at the next door will pull the whole room with it, so you need to clear the room before proceeding. 8:00 - 10:30 = Avoid poking the 4 big adds in this room, round up the small adds and aoe them down. Chain the add next to the north door out of the way and proceed. 10:30 - 11:00 = We always just skip this room, I think the mobs there are just for quest. 11:00 - 15:00 = First Boss - Click stone to open the door, this boss is fairly easy but often times when grouping with koreans I some how manage to lose aggro ;-; It's just tank and spank, he'll run to mid to summon adds, just get them taunted and aoe down. He'll also do a big aoe hit, you can stun/interrupt/dodge, it's pretty much the same as the first boss in Sinestral Manor. Loot and proceed to the 1st west room. 15:00 - 20:00 = In entry level gear you should avoid pulling more than 2 <b>...</b>

This is one of my least favorite areas of the game, so I cheated. I brought Mog along and equipped him with the Molulu's Charm Relic, which allows you to evade all randomly battles. In the first section, I show you how to get one of the most secret items in the game, the Air Anchor. For this tool, you have to go directly to the right of the Safety Bit chest, and press the "talk button." You will hear the press of a switch. Go outside the door, and go down one floor and inside the new door, and it will be in a chest there. This awesome Tool for Edgar allows you to kill an enemy in one hit, although you have to wait one more round before the enemy dies. This item does not miss, but will not work on enemies resistant to instant death. Higher up we find the Holy Dragon. This was one of the easier dragons for me, but I was overlevelled. You can be cheap like me and exploit Quick to cast multiple Ultima spells, or just hit him with other powerful Magic. Higher up you will enter the room at the very top, and get the Soul of Thamas Relic. This is one of the best items in the game and allows a character to Dualcast. After you exit, you will fight the Magic Master. An easy way to defeat him is to cast Berzerk on him, which makes him randomly attack you rather than cast powerful magics. Make sure at some point you cause Reraise spell on 1 or 2 characters as well, because when you defeat him he will always cast Ultima as a desperation attack. Always open to any tips or tricks. Part 1 consists of the first boss and clearing the majority of the trash mobs/rooms. Part 2 has three boss fights and one room of trash. Oh, lord. In this episode, with 20 REP, a member of Dort's Bandits is captured and lets slip of his hideout's location once the first section of the map is cleared. Now the map is doubled in size as we set to face Dort one more time for being a shameless Ortega clone. There's a problem, though. He and his bandits have an unrelenting devotion to this stone Golem known as "The Protector". With this, it might be hard-pressed to do battle with them... Dort and all of his mooks are on High status because they have The Protector on their side. The Protector does not have such protection, though, so he's easily handled if you can get through the spirited mooks first. There is a warning, though; Dort has 3 catapults set up and he'll use all of them during his charges, so be extra careful. If you destroy The Protector, all of the enemies lose their High status and the map becomes easy. Of note is the house near Dort's hideout; an alchemist resides there. She can combine two of the items from Battlefield 29 into one full component for Milanor's "ultimate" weapon - the Stardust and Desert Rose can be fused to make the Stardust Hourglass. This will be used in full in two more battlefields. After Dort's demise, the rest of his bandits scatter and Battlefield 30 ends, as we advance to St. Meriata and see why the Empire's gathering there!
