March of the Living meets Czeslawa Zak A True Hero

On the 2009 March of the Living, Canadian students met with Czeslawa Zak, a heroic Polish woman, who together with her parents, saved 15 Jews during the Holocaust. The Jews were hidden in a room next to their apartment, and Czesława and her family, supplied them with food and all of their other needs during the war. Czeslawa Zak is among the 20000 Righteous Among the Nations honored by Yad Vashem, Israels National Holocaust Museum, in Israel.
