One day, the Nvidia Quadro NVS 110 graphics card in my Dell Latitude D620 decides to go kapoot. The screen is messed up and the resolution is awkward, but at least my laptop still works. I guess it burned itself out after the gaming that I used it for. It only had like 16MB of graphics memory, anyways. Turns out that the D620 is made for spreadsheets, not gaming.

I got a dell Latitude D620 off eBay from DFS! I ran home to unbox it. It has an Intel Core Duo T2300E @t 1.66Ghz. 1 GB Ram, and an 40 GB SATA Hard drive. I will be upgrading the hard drive to a WD 160GB 7200RPM drive, and 3 GB ram. It can support up to 4GB. It has an Intel GMA 945 graphics card with up to 224 MB shared memory, and a Intel 954GM Chipset. It came loaded with Windows XP SP# Home Edition, but I put Windows XP Professional SP3 on it.

Recorded March 11, 2011. Man, what a short life, actually, it ran windows 7 64 bit home premium, which took atleast 10 minutes to start due to its bad hdd. Then, out of nowhere, the HDD stops working completly (The next day.) So, after, trying to run the diagnostic, the system would not pass the bios even half way. So i open it up, salvage the ram, dual core pentium m,dvd rw drive, (now in the D510.) I only have the remenants which are the screen, and touchpad/ armrest assembly. Keyboard, battery, hdd, cpu fan, are all gone. RIP Dell Latitude D620. 2008-2011.
