I am showing you a few of my Dan moi. Dan moi are a traditional mountain instrument of the Hmong people. The Hmong are a minority group living in all of southeast Asia. They are usually mountain people and don't mix with the native population. This instrument is used as love communication. Disclaimer: This is for entertainment purposes only. Mini Dan Moi improvisation
The Dan Moi is the traditional jaw harp of the Hmung people of Vietnam. Mini Dan moi is made out of very thin brass carried in a little case. Dan Moi means "instrument of the lips", and is played against the lips instead of the teeth. It gives an excellent, brilliant sound, full of harmonics.
