Kidnapped boy rescued in Dandora
There are fears that the Mungiki could be spreading their tentacles into the new wave of kidnappings in the country. Police are holding a Mungiki co-ordinator in relation with the kidnapping of a teenage boy on Tuesday. Eugene Nelson Ochieng was rescued last night in an operation in Dandora.

This latest incident in Dandora brings to four, the number of people murdered in cold blood for the last two weeks. This happened after Buru Buru OCPD Kipkemoi Rop promised residents who were protesting increased insecurity in the area that he would take action.

A group of elders and several non-governmental organizations are calling on the two principals, President Mwai Kibaki and Prime Minister Raila Odinga to urgently address the issue and even facilitate the closing of the dumpsite before more people living around the area succumb to diseases and even death emanating from the dumpsite. Much as President Mwai Kibaki declared emphatically that his government would not allow criminals to run amok in the country, only this morning suspected thugs killed 2 police officers in cold blood while another one sustained serious bullet wounds in 2 separate incidents in Nairobi.

'Father Defiles 13 Year Old Daughter'
Drama unfolded at the Nairobi area traffic police headquarters after a man accused of sexually assaulting his 13 - year - old daughter attempted to escape, only to be intercepted by his wife, who brought him back to the police station. The man who lives in Dandora with his family was being held at the Dandora police station but was later brought to the Nairobi area traffic headquarters to undergo a medical examination, where he unsuccessfully tried to escape.
