The effort will reportedly culminate in Blaine dropping to the ground at 11 pm Wednesday. Dr. Ronald Ruden, Blaine's physician, told ABCNews.com that when he first heard the name of the stunt, "It scared the crap out of me." Teenagers in Colombia have been filmed lying between rail tracks while trains pass above them, in a reckless 'chicken'-style craze. Dozens of youths in the South American country are taking part in the dangerous pastime, which they have dubbed "the train game". Those involved wait on the tracks until they see a train heading their way and lie between the rails just before they are hit, letting it pass over them. One young man explained what attracted him to the alarming activity. "To me, it's a way to do acrobatics by risking ourselves in a heroic way there at the bridge," he said. So far, there have been no reported deaths but there have been injuries, including one youth who lost two of his fingers. Local authorities said they would start a public health campaign in a bid to convince the youngsters not to take part. It is not the first example of death-defying stunts on rail tracks being caught on camera. Just last month, a film emerged of a 28-year-old daredevil jumping under a train in China at a deserted station on the Shanghai subway. He filmed a train pulling into the platform and jumped onto the tracks as it drew close. In an incident also captured on CCTV, he then lay flat on his back and continued filming as the train passed overhead. British Transport Police released footage in July of a young boy playing chicken with a high-speed train, after a spate of deaths on railway tracks.
