Dharma Sangha Says Goodbye 2006

Not knowing whether this video is available to the public anymore, I uploaded it. I had it on a DVD from a dear friend. I have added Dharma Sangha's own comments about the time he disappeared, but regretted that he had not said goodbye to his devotees. If you wish to see the full speech of May 20, 2011, you can go to Etapasvi and look under teachings.

The Triple Gem: Buddha, Dhamma, Sangha

The Triple Gem The central focus of inspiration and devotion for Buddhists is the Triple Gem (also known as the Three Treasures and the Three Refuges). These three are Buddha, Dhamma (Dharma), and Sangha. Buddha means 'Enlightened One' or 'Awakened One,' and is generally used to refer to the founder of Buddhism. There have been other Buddhas before him, however, and will be other Buddhas in the future. The word Dhamma (in Sanskrit, Dharma) is often used to refer to the Buddha's teachings, but it also means the eternal Truth which the teachings convey to us. Dhamma is threefold: the Dhamma that we study, that which we practice, and the Dhamma of Realization. Sangha literally means 'community' or 'assembly.' The word has two meanings in proper Buddhist usage: the community of disciples (whether ordained or not) who have gained Realization of any of the stages of Awakening; and the community of ordained disciples--bhikkhus (monks) and bhikkhunis (nuns). Palden Dorje - Dharma Sangha

Palden Dorje The Reincarnation of Buddha. Palden Dorje's Speech: Murder, violence, greed, anger and temptation has made the human world a desperate place. A terrible storm has descended upon the human world, and this is carrying the world towards destruction. There is only one way to save the world and that is through 'dharma" (spiritual practice.) When one doesn't walk the righteous path of spiritual practice, this desperate world will surely be destroyed. Therefore, follow the path of spirituality and spread this message to your fellows. Never put obstacles, anger and disbelief in the way of my meditation's mission. I am only showing you the way; you must seek it on your own. What I will be, what I will do, the coming days will reveal. Human salvation, the salvation of all living beings, and peace in the world are my goal and my path. "Namo Buddha sangaya, Namo Buddha sangaya, namo sangaya." I am contemplating on the release of this chaotic world from the ocean of emotion, on our detachment from anger and temptation, without straying from the path for even a moment, I am renouncing my own attachment to my life and my home forever, I am working to save all living beings. But in this undisciplined world, my life's practice is reduced to mere entertainment. The practice and devotion of many Buddhas is directed at the world's betterment and happiness. It is essential but very difficult to understand that practice and devotion. But though it is easy to lead this ignorant ...

Why We Should Make Offerings to the Sangha (Part 2 of 2)

Dear friends, Buddha Dhamma Sagararanna had their new temple opening ceremony at Port Dickson last Sunday. Many sangha members from around the world attended the ceremony... including nuns from Taiwan, nuns of Myanmmar and local Dharma practitioners. How beautiful! I was invited to attend the opening, due to hectic schedule I was not able to attend, but Kechara's Liaison Irene Lim attended and presented gifts on my behalf. The sangha members were led by Venerable Chang Ern from Buddha Dhamma Sagararanna Buddhist Association. Venerable Chang Ern also serves as the Chief of Malaysia Buddhist Association (MBA), Negeri Sembilan branch. Kechara's liaisons Irene was contacted by Venerable Chang Ern, and Irene immediately offered to host the group of sangha members for dinner at Kechara Oasis (KO), Jaya One. This was a Dana offering on behalf of Kechara at our own Vegetarian Restaurant! At KO, Irene gave a warm welcome to this group of sangha members with an opening speech thanking them for giving her the opportunity to offer Dana. Pastor Ngeow and Liaison Paul Yap were also there to represent Kechara House. The group was offered delicious, healthy and vegetarian food... I was told that they liked the food offered to them very much! After dinner, Irene and the group of sangha members went to the Kechara House gompa for a visit. The sangha members and other lay Dharma practitioners were then given a tour of our Kechara Gallery. During this time, Ven Chang Ern and the group of ...

Dharma Sangha - May All Beings Be Happy.mp4

Dharma Sangha (earlier Palden Dorje, born Ram Bahadur Bomjan) was born on April 9, 1990 in Ratanpuri village, Bara district, Nepal. Ram's parents are farmers. His mother, Maya Devi was married at 12. She had 5 sons and 4 daughters. Ram was her third son. When she was in her pregnancy, she found she was unable to eat meat without becoming ill. The son, whom she named Ram, would not eat meat. He would leave the house for long intervals from an early age. Ram was always pleased to see a lama or a holy person and fastidiously imitated them. He often seemed to be lost in thought and spoke little. Whenever someone spoke to him, he would reply with a smile and would treat people of all ages equally.

Sri-Lanka - Vesak - වෙසක් උළෙල - The Festive Of Light.[HD VIDEO].mp4

Vesak in Sri Lanka Vesak is celebrated as a religious and a cultural festival in Sri Lanka on the full moon of the lunar month of Vesak (Usually fall on Gregory month of May), for a duration about one week.During this week, the selling of alcohol and fresh meat is usually prohibited, with abattoirs also being closed. Celebrations include various religious and alms giving activities. Electrically lit pandols called toranas are erected in various locations mainly in Colombo, Kandy, Galle and elsewhere, most sponsored by donors, religious societies and welfare groups. Each pandol illustrates a story from the 550 Jataka Katha or the 550 Past Life Stories of the Buddha. In addition, colourful lanterns called Vesak koodu are hung along streets and in front of homes. They signify the light of the Buddha, Dharma and the Sangha. Food stalls set up by Buddhist devotees called dansälas provide free food and drinks to passersby. Groups of people from various community organisations, businesses and government departments sing bhakti gee or Buddhist devotional songs. Colombo experiences a massive influx of public from all parts of the country during this week. Video Credit - Amila Galappaththi Visit - amilag.wordpress.com Disclaimer.
