My husband loves it in this form of sweet and milky dessert. The goodness of this recipe is that it can be eaten hot as well as chilled. Please note that It is pretty different than the Sewaiyan that you would have eaten on the occasion of Eid. Sewaiyan's are thin and long threads while vermicelli is much thicker and short in height. Also, some north Indian communities make this Sweet Milky Vemicelli on Rakshabandhan. it is considered auspicious and is devoted as a prasad to the the God.
