This video comes from a really great documentary on Gehry by Sidney Pollack titled "Sketches of Frank Gehry". I have to say I somehow ended up a fan of Frank's work. I say somehow, because everywhere I travel to I end up seeing his architecture and it's kinda grown on me. I had an opportunity to meet him at a book signing recently and can assure you he's definitely a character. Pick up the DVD if you're interested in architecture. Even if you're not a Gehry fan, there's information in here not to be missed.

The Brave Little Tailor is short from CD2 of Mickey Mouse in Living Color. ALL CONTENT IS OWNED BY:DISNEY *************************************************************************** In a town that lives in fear of a giant, Mickey the humble tailor is plagued by flies. When he kills seven "giants" in his workshop, it leads to a misunderstanding and soon Mickey is before the king being asked to tell his tale. When it becomes clear to Mickey that they want him to kill a real giant, he is less than enthusiastic, but the promise of Princess Minnie's hand soon changes his mind. Mickey sets off to bring down the countryside-rampaging giant, equipped with wit in place of size. One of the few short subjects that went beyond the notion of simply making a few laughs out of various gags strung together, Brave Little Tailor has the characters "acting." This short could possibly have been a "testing ground" for Mickey and the Beanstalk which was due to go into production a few years later, but was put on hold due to World War II.

I went crazy with all the masking but it was worth it ^^ Basic storyline: - Proteus is abandoned as a baby and found by queen Tuya and king Dimas who become his parents; - Eris and Kida are two goddesses with nothing better to do than mess with human lives (specially Eris) so she arranges for Proteus and Esmeralda (a gipsy who dances for a living) to meet; - One night, there's a party at the palace and Esmeralda is the main attraction - especially for Proteus; - He follows her after the party and the two kiss; - However... Proteus says Esmeralda looks familiar to him and she can't hide it anymore (since it's killing her) so she drops the bomb - she's his sister Oo (I know! they don't really look alike but bare with me here); - The two suffer since they have strong feelings for each other but at that moment the guards appear to arrest Esmeralda for seducing the prince; - Proteus tries to tell her he didn't call them but she's too mad to believe him; - At the trial Proteus appears and tells everyone she's innocent and that he's in love with her; - His "father" objects but Proteus says he knows the truth; - Even though Esmeralda tries to tell Proteus to stop, he simply smiles as they're both sentenced to death for incest; SPOILERS!! - Kida tells Eris it's time to stop fooling around and decides to do something about it - so she saves Proteus; - And since all Eris wants is to have fun she doesn't care whether they live or die so... she <b>...</b>
