Dancers are Lisa Beck, Arielle Christner, Rachel S. Thurston, and Deby Tygell. The performance took place at the Unitarian Church in Santa Barbara, California in May 2009.

David Hilal & Dramane Kone solo for Monti Ellison's African Dance Class at Orange Coast College. The other djembefola is Eric Hummel. Miro and Adrian are holding down the Dununs. Louise and Robert alternate on the Kenkeni part. There were at least 10 drummers sharing their energy this evening... this dance class was HOT! Thank you for coming and leading this class Dramane! I appreciate the filming Jer, you did an awesome job. Enjoy this djembe and dunun drumming in South Orange County :)

Djole Dance
Djole comes from the southwest of Guinea. Danced by the Timini, Mendiani, and Susu peoples and in a part of Sierra Leone. It is a mask dance done to show case the different masks to the younger generation. Here I am making my dancing debut as a part of Bese Saka's performance at Anna Maria College's Zecco Performing Arts Center
