Mismatched Couples, my god what can I say more to this film than one masterpiece. This was the first Donnie Yen movie I've seen when I was a child. Most memorable movie to me and definitely a family film. You guys reminded me about this film and hope you like this upload. Plot: Eddie, a dancing enthusiast, is so eager to learn from a retired Cantonese Opera master, Big Eyes, that he persuades his sister to offer him a job in her store. Jacky, the champion dancer from USA is having a good time in Hong Kong when he meets Eddie and Kitty in a tennis court. He, along with David, Eddie's classmate, intends to show off in front of Kitty, only to be defeated by Eddie in a tennis match. Kitty thus admires Eddie very much. When Big Eyes and Eddie make fun of Kitty's bodyguard, Ms. Biggy in a health club, a super boxer, Power is provoked to challenge Eddie. At Jacky's birthday party, he finds himself the victim of the conspiracy against Eddie. Despite beating Jacky in the dance contest, Eddie feels miserable for being torn between Kitty and his cousin Stella, who loves him secretly. The end fight of In the line of Duty 4 from Yuen Woo ping. This movie was made in 1990. Donnie Yen is the man right now. He is the best martial art performer on the silver screen. For me, the 80's and 90's were the years Jackie Chan ruled the martial arts films business, followed closely by Jet Li in the 90's. But now, Donnie is king!! Tony Jaa is good but not quite the all around master that Donnie is. His recent films : Killzone and Ip Man are two gems of the genre. Ip Man 2 is going to be so good, specialy if Sammo plays a role in it.

In this scene from Crystal Hunt, Winnie Law (Nadeki Fujimi) and Brett Chan (Donnie Yen) infiltrate the turf of Stephen White (John Salvitti) a notorious smuggler in the hopes of finding Winnie's father. Stephen won't divulge any information though unless Brett can beat one of his warriors in a fight. Brett takes down one with ease, so Stephen decides to up the ante by stepping into the fight himself, all the while Lisa Li (Carrie Ng) and her bodyguard Gordon Lo (Ken Lo) watch from the sidelines. *Donnie and John show how acrobatic and quick they are in this fight. TODAY's upload is a fast paced trailer for Platinum edition DVD release of Hong Kong martial arts adventure - IRON MONKEY. Trailer is in my oppinion nicely done with fine music background and atmospheric voice narration. Movie is worth it - especially if you like martial arts movies in wuxia style and watch the Platinum edition that includes many bonuses and infos about HK cinema and cast. This one is really one of HK LEGENDS :-). Iron Monkey is a 1993 Hong Kong movie by director and martial arts choreographer Yuen Woo Ping (later become widely famous in the west through his Matrix work). Produced by Tsui Hark. For this breathtaking epic adventure set in late Ching dynasty, acclaimed action director Yuen Woo-ping combines incredible dynamic, high-flying fight-action and stunning cinematography with a classic wuxia story of courage, honour and sacrifice. International action superstars Donnie Yen and Yu Rong Kwong give nice performances as two legendary warriors who must put their lives on the line to defeat the barbaric excesses of a corrupt political regime and protect the lives of the people and child who later becomes "The Legend" Wong Fei Hong. The DVD with many nice bonuses in this Platinum edition is worth seeing. Okay, Donnie Yen is supposed to be a vampire too. He is up against a second generation, a mutated vampire that feeds on other vampires - and basically the only one who can handle the incoming. His death scene is cut out of Blade 2 - you do see a nosferatu fiesting on a corpse, and the plot development suggests it's Snowman. I guess they couldn't really imagine Donnie getting his butt kicked...

Drunken Tai Chi is a movie full of comedy and classic martial art. It was my first time watching this and had to share it with everyone here lol. Plot: Cheng Do (Donnie Yen) is the well-educated younger son of an unpleasant, miserly salt baron who pours attention on Cheng, grooming him to be a scholar, and ignores his hardworking elder son (Yuen Yat Chor). The brothers have a loving relationship with each other, despite some strain from their father's unequal treatment of them. Both brothers are skilled in external martial arts, though their father disapproves of Cheng practicing kung fu when he should be studying. One day, a local bully with a nobleman father harasses the townsfolk, and Cheng fights, defeats, and humiliates him. That night, the bully and his partners in crime ambush Cheng and his brother, attempting to burn them with fireworks.
