PhoneArena reviews the Motorola DROID RAZR. Combining two of the most memorable brand names in phone history, the Motorola DROID RAZR is bent on establishing itself as the poster child of tomorrow's next-generation Android smartphone selection. On one hand, it follows in the same stylistic manner that made people fall in love with the original Motorola RAZR from back in the day -- thanks to its ... Droid Razr Review - The Best Android Phone?

Droid Razr Review - The Best Android Phone? The engineering brilliance behind the Droid Razr cannot be understated. Packed in just .28-inches of stainless steel and soft-touch Kevlar, the Razr manages to include some truly impressive specs into an amazingly thin frame. Like Motorola's clamshell offering from yesteryear, the Droid Razr is an incredible feat of hardware design that should be the blueprints for future devices. But how does it tie up as a whole? One big question heading into our review was, "Does it live up to the Razr name?" The answer to that is yes, but there are a few caveats, and one of them is a big one. The Motorola Droid Razr is remarkably thin. So thin, in fact, that even after seeing it in pictures, holding it in person is a bit of a shock. Track one down to know what we mean, you'll be surprised too. The thing is, though, the device is by no means small, especially if you have smaller hands. The screen sits at 4.3-inches, but the way the phone was designed to accommodate every component makes it seems clunky. There is a huge bezel that pretty much makes one-handed use next to impossible, and the squared-off edges adds to this illusion. Next to an iPhone 4/iPhone 4S, the thing is massive. Still, consumers with bigger hands may not even notice its size. That aside, the specs packed into the Razr make for a very snappy, smooth experience. The 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM open folders and applications very quickly, and it was actually one of ...

Motorola DROID RAZR (Verizon) review

MobileBurn.com - The Motorola DROID RAZR for Verizon Wireless is the thinnest LTE 4G handset on the market, coming in at a slim 7.1mm in thickness. It features a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, a 4.3-inch qHD resolution Super AMOLED Advanced touchscreen, and a 1080p HD capable 8 megapixel camera. In other words, it's got everything - even Gorilla glass and a Kevlar rear cover. It's nothing short of amazing, if you can look past its questionable battery life. More info: www.mobileburn.com

Aaron pits the brand new Samsung Galaxy Nexus against the thin-and-light Motorola DROID RAZR, and while the Galaxy Nexus isn't the Verizon 4G LTE version, comparisons can be drawn. The Samsung Galaxy Nexus (GSM version) offers a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED true HD (720p) display with PenTile technology, 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, 1750 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). The Motorola DROID RAZR is also powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP CPU, and has a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display with PenTile technology, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, 1780 mAh battery, and Android 2.3.5 in a body that's 7.1mm thin. The RAZR MAXX is identical to the Motorola Droid RAZR released a few months earlier except for the MAXX's super-capacity 3300 mAh battery. Droid RAZR MAXX review

gear.lv - In this episode we give you a look at the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX. This is a follow-up to the Droid RAZR, with the major difference being that the RAZR MAXX packs in a 3300 mAh battery. The result? The RAZR MAXX has twice the battery life of the Droid RAZR that was just released a couple of months ago. In fact, this is the first 4G LTE smartphone that we've found that doesn't have horrible battery life. With the Droid RAZR MAXX, you can count on the battery to last all day and night, which is a welcome change from what we've found with other 4G smartphones. It's also got an 8 megapixel camera that records 1080p, and the front camera records 720p as well. It's also got a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX vs. Samsung Galaxy Nexus Dogfight Part 1

The Verizon Android dogfights continue! Aaron compares the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX and the Samsung Galaxy Nexus. The MAXX rocks a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing camera, gigantic 3300 mAh battery, and Android 2.3 with Motorola's UI. The Galaxy Nexus comes with a 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.65-inch Super AMOLED HD (720p) display, a 5-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording, a front-facing shooter, 1850 mAh battery, and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Both pack 4G LTE connectivity, so you'll be surfing the web and downloading apps without trouble. The DROID RAZR MAXX blows the competition away in battery life (Motorola estimates 21.5 hours of talk time on a single charge, and they're not far off), but the Galaxy Nexus has Ice Cream Sandwich. It features the same 1.2 GHz dual-core TI OMAP processor, 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Advanced display, and 8-megapixel camera with 1080p HD video recording as the DROID RAZR, but it goes above and beyond with a massive 3300 mAh battery (and 8.99mm thickness as a result). It's still thin and light, and better yet, Motorola's claiming that the RAZR MAXX will make it through 21.5 hours of continuous talk time, eight movies in a row, or a long drive using GPS navigation. It's the third CES 2012 device to land in the office. Is it the best, especially considering the big battery? Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX Review

PhoneArena reviews the Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX. When Verizon introduced the Motorola DROID RAZR last November, we were impressed with its design, build quality and features, including a 4.3" display and dual-core processor -- all wrapped up in a body that is only 0.28" thick. The only caveat being the 1780 mAh non-removable battery, as it may not provide long enough power for heavy users. Motorola hopes to alleviate this with the new Motorola DROID RAZR MAXX, as it comes with a higher capacity 3300 mAh battery... For more details, check out our web site: www.phonearena.com

Motorola Droid RAZR Review

Motorola Droid RAZR $299 w/ a 2-year con Pros Stunning style Top-notch build quality Speedy 1.2GHz CPU "Smart Actions" opens a world of possibilities Cons Unnecessarily flashy UI customization Non-removable battery Bottomline The latest addition to the Droid family does the RAZR name justice with its solid build quality, striking design and brisk performance. To say the Droid RAZR is thin doesn't do it justice. At only 7.1mm thick it's almost unbelievably svelte. Heck, the Galaxy S II, which impressed us with its sleek physique just a few months ago, measures a comparatively beefy 8.49mm. The RAZR does bulge out at the top to about 10.6mm around the 8 megapixel camera, but that's hardly enough to make the handset cumbersome.
