Dubai Airports successfully orchestrated a flash mob showcasing the talents of 55 dancers in Terminal 1 on October 26. The project, which also involved DDF and flydubai, was a key element in a promotional campaign designed to heighten awareness for the recently launched DXB Connect, the world's first Airport Prepaid Mastercard, now on sale at Dubai Duty Free. Not only did it surprise and delight passengers in the airport who witnessed the 'live' version, the video has also gone viral via social media.

It's famous for the lotteries that they have. I mean, that's one of the good things about the Duty Free in Dubai. They have, for instance, this is a lottery. You have one change in one thousand, let me show you, to win a Harley Davidson. And the price for the ticket, so they only issue a thousand tickets, for the lottery for this motorcycle. And the price for the ticket is 100 dirhams, which is something like, $25 US, a bit less in euros. About 22, 23 euros. So, it's not a bad deal. I mean, you have, how many times do you have a chance of one in one thousand. Not many, so. And for the rest, it's a typical, big terminal, with a lot of shops. Electronics are not bad. Although you can probably buy some really good electronics in Dubai downtown. But, let me see... Let me see... What else to show you. Okay, this is electronics, a little shop. Next... Typical... I mean, buying Godiva in Dubai. It should be the French, but I guess that is... if the price is right, why not. And <b>...</b>

The dance was organised to mark the recent launch of the world's first airport prepaid MasterCard card, which was unveiled by Dubai Airports, Dubai Duty Free and MasterCard Worldwide, aimed primarily at airport clientele. DXB Connect offers arriving, departing and transiting passengers exclusive discounts at Dubai Duty Free retail outlets, as well as at various hotels, spas, F&B outlets and family entertainment venues across Dubai. It also offers global reach as it is accepted everywhere the MasterCard acceptance mark is displayed. Just fast forward, as this is a long 9 Minute walk all around Dubai's International terminal 3. This was recorded Dec 31st 2010. Dubai International Airport has opened its eagerly-awaited Terminal 3 development. The terminal is being used exclusively by Dubai national airline Emirates - and when fully operational will be able to handle 43 million passengers every year. Terminal 3's opening means the overall capacity of Dubai International has increased by 50% to over 65 million passengers every year. Dubai is one of the world's fastest-growing airports, and it's new terminal is just the latest impressive transport infrastructure development in the Middle East. Flights at Terminal 3 include local flights to Doha, Muscat, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jeddah, Damman and Riyadh, as well as intercontinental services to Europe, the USA, South America, South Africa, Australia. Dubai Terminal 3 Check In The check in facilities at Dubai Terminal 3 feature the option of online check in, with passengers checking using self-service kiosks. Passengers can connect to Terminal 3 using either car parks or a brand new metro station that is connected to the other terminals at the airport. There is a hotel located centrally within the airport, which features a wide range of dining options as well as a health club including a gym, jacuzzi and swimming pool.
