My friend Manny who is a very good heli pilot graciously took the time to check over my new Blade 450 helicopter and test it out for me before I gave it a try. I am a novice pilot when it comes to heli flying and referred to a better pilot to help me check it out which is always a good idea. Discovering the "Perfromance" mode on the E-Flight Blade mSR by moving to the higher Stick Rate. I found on some forums that there is a sort of "Performance" mode on the cyclic that ads more travel to the top and bottom of the 2 servos connected to the swash. They only move a little more but they make the mSR really scream! I have only had this heli a few days and it already feels like a whole new Heli! Hope you enjoy the video.

Here is a quick way to make batteries that will mount under the original battery compartment of the E-Flite Blade MSR RC Micro Helicopter using the Zippy 240mah 20C batteries. Most RC pilots have wanted to fly a bi-plane at one time or another and the first one that comes to mind is always the pre-WWII Stearman PT-17 US Army Air Corps primary trainer that many wartime pilots learned to fly in. E-flite has released a new PT-17 ARF that makes it possible for everyone to assemble and fly a very scale-like Stearman. Wing alignment and transportation has been simplified to eliminate the difficulties associated with more conventional assemblies. A simple bracket and two screws make wing assembly and removal simple. The built up balsa/ply construction with fuselage stringers maintains that full-scale realism reminiscent of aircraft in that era while also keeping the total weight to a minimum. The result is an excellent flying RC model capable of all the aerobatics the real one could do. It is not a primary trainer for RC but it is not difficult to fly due to the features incorporated in this E-flite design. This one is designed to be powered with a 15 size brushless electric motor so operation is equally easy. This is a video of the E-Flite Blade SR micro helicopter. It is a demo of simple indoor flight (hovering, simple turns, etc). The SR is a step up from the Blade mSR. The SR is not the mSR however, the blades rotate much faster. If you crash the SR expect a repair bill whereas the mSR can take a lot of abuse without damage. I got 14 minutes of video on one battery on the SR. I had to break the final video into two parts to meet the youTube limit of 10 minute videos. At the end of the video you get to see how the SR's Soft Low Voltage Cutout works (SLVC).

well after spending the day installing a new/second hand kitchen at about 4pm the wind started to die out, the car had been packed all day just waiting, so i grabbed the good lady and down the oval we went, got there and the sun even came out while we flew, put the Sukhoi 26-xp up first just to calm the nerves, then it was time! well as your see in the vid this plane flys well, it's quick it responds to "Any" input "Real" quick so be on your toes or your find the ground quick. After a short flight i land and give the Side Force Generators a go, sorry i'm just not good enough or brave enough to try out fully on my first flight of this amazing bird your see me trying to do a knife edge and it tips upside down and i lose it, motor cut and a lucky landing see no damage to the plane what so ever, same couldn't be said for the SFG haha When i charged the battery after the maiden it only took 98mAh, so a little over half all up this plane is hot and once a few have it i'm sure the word will spread, just watch out for that ground this plane brings it up quick

The World War I era biplanes coming from E-flite have a huge appeal to almost all RC guys and with the introduction of the Nieuport 17 many new model builders have started building these replica airplanes. When it comes to doing the final assembly and alignment a builder might wonder how he is going to measure the various wing and fuselage alignments since it seems there are so few common points where a person can check the dimensions from one side of the model to the other. It is important to be as accurate as possible but your visual references are going to get it close enough. John Redman, the designer, has some very helpful tips and explanations. Just got the E-flite BMCXT! This is an unboxing / review / flight of this new micro tandem 4CH helicopter by E-flite! This is a great little helicopter that is another alternative to the blade mCX as a beginner helicopter. It costs a little more, but also has more hardware in it, and a larger battery + better included charger. Just like the mCX it is a 4CH DSM2 radio system to give you full control of the helicopter.

The new mSR is an ultra-micro helicopter, but it is a Single Rotor heli that brings a new level of performance to these very small helicopters. It is basically the same size as the common mCX heli, but the new mSR is very different in every other aspect especially t in terms of flight performance. The mSR will provide an excellent stepping stone to full high-performance helicopters for people graduating from a co-axial dual rotor heli. Most people with some mCX or CX2/3 experience will be able fly the mSR and develop their indoor flying skills to a much higher degree. The new level of performance is going to surprise you in a big way. A single rotor with a true powered tail rotor results in flight performance on a level with larger helicopters. E-flite has also been able to expand the capacity of the single-cell Li-Po to 120mAh, resulting in longer flights. The Apprentice offered no surprises at the park as it flew perfectly. I could even take off from grass that was a bit long for the smaller 15-size wheels. I had plenty of power when needed and the flight time was a full 15 minutes as advertised.
