YOU CAN USE THIS VIDEO! READ THE DESCRIPTION BEFORE MESSAGING ME!! I find it quite funny that this video has generated such interest. Thank you Lifechurch.TV for the inspiration. Any video can be downloaded from Youtube using the Youtube Downloader. I no longer have the original video on my hard drives. Search for the downloader on Google, i use it all the time and it works great. UPDATE: 10/18/10 - Wow! 63 thousand views! This is incredible. I get a request for this video every week, and I have to be honest with you. This is a compliation of a lot of videos, sounds and effects found all over the internet. I uswed Sony Vegas to produce it. We used it for the "30 Days To Live" series in our church. As far as I'm concerned, you can download this video and use it in anything you want. Credit can be given to IOSMVideos, Sherwood, Arkansas. Just let me know whenever you use it and how it turned out! A new way I've found to download videos is using Downloadhelper in the Firefox web browser. It works even better than youtube downloader. Thanks for the interest!!!!!

READ THIS FIRST! first of all, sorry about the bad video quality, but i had to record it with my (cheap) webcam in order to be able to sync in with the microphone recording. this is a video of my ECG with auscultation sound in real-time, where i do various things to trigger arrhythmia / alter the ECG reading. most of that is explained in the video itself. i labeled the arrhythmia when it first appeared: VES means ventricular extrasystole, which is equal to PVC (premature ventricular contraction). SES means superventricular extrasystole. LVOT means left ventricular outflow tract. APEX means tip of the heart. i am using a Hellige SMU intensive care monitor and a Logitech USB microphone.

A sequence of videos designed to create a foundation of understanding of the 12-lead ECG in pre-health profession freshman and sophomore students. This video should not be considered clinically relevant, rather I hope it serves as a basis for understanding the biophysics of ECG recordings so that the interested student can use it to further develop their understanding of ECGs. Relevant topics covered will be an introduction (Part 1), diagnoses possible (Part 1), cardiac conduction cycle (Part 2), Einthoven's triangle(Part 2), how ECG leads detect the voltage changes in the conduction cycle (Part 3), a basic understanding of leads I, II, and III, augmented leads (Part 4), QRS axis (Part 5), Precordial leads (Part 6), and a return to diagnoses using www.ecglibrary.com (Part 7).
