Um wait, did someone say MIDI controller ?? No songmode, no export to file and no sync to DAW. Then whats the point. compared to the actual module itself, this lacks. It doesn't sample either. The concept is great but I'm still left shaking my head to it

No actual tracks were sampled except Blue Monday's choir sound (from the original source track Uranium by Kraftwerk). All tracks recreated by ear. In the originals different synths were used. All played and filmed live during recording, no MIDI sequencer was used. WATH IN HD !! This is Strip Steve - Breakin' from Delta Disco EP. I just sampled the vocal and the melody from the original song and then rebuilt the beat and play live with it ! This is made with a Korg ESX-1, a Korg Kaoss Pad 3 and a Roland SH-201. There are some little mistakes but I like this version :)

As always, no actual records were sampled. All recreated by ear. The scratch fx were done by stacking some sounds and adding heavy pitch modulation over it, with the ESX ribbon and slider controlling gate and pitch. All synth and bass parts were made on a Roland Juno 106 synthesizer (1984). Again all film shot wile actual recording. Electribe ES-1 sampler demo (Part 1) Late 80s' type of hip hop beats
I bought a Korg Electribe ES-1 on ebay a few weeks ago. Great machine best suited for triggering drum samples, rather than triggering phrase samples. Anyway, I noticed that no one has uploaded videos do hip hop beats using Electribe ES-1. Most of samples were taken from vinyls.
